I bought this as I work in a very dirty/oily industrial job, this protects my phone perfectly, my only negative, it does make the phone much more bulckier and bigger in the pocket, but no lost stars as I’m use it it for different purposes than designed.

I used this case for my tour of the NC500 on my motorbike. Day 1 the camera on my iPhone failed. The case is waterproof and very rugged although the mounting points did start to wear away by day 9. Disappointed :-(

It works as advertise.. I've used to keep my phone while touring through Europe on my motorbike few times now. It's totally waterproof, well design and works with the gloves. For the price I've paid, it's worth every penny.
