Perception Kayaks Scupper Hole Plugs for Kayaks, 4 Pack

My kayak has seven rather large scupper holes in it. I've had trouble finding scupper plugs that fit my kayak, but these fit perfectly. They also fit my buddy's kayak (which has much smaller scupper holes) as well. So they seem to have a very universal fit. They were easy to install, and easy to pull back out when I needed to drain water, and at the end of the day. And after a month long kayaking/camping trip up the Pacific Coast, they never fell out on their own or caused me any problems. And they already have little holes drilled in the finger-tabs so you can attach them to a lanyard or other catch to keep from losing them. After one season of kayaking, I have no complaints about this product and would purchase it again without a second thought. If any of that changes, I will update this review.

The scupper holes in my kayak are recessed in a track so using the standard generic plugs don't work because they are so large in diameter at the top so you can't make a snug fit. These plugs are a perfect fit and they are identical with the plugs that originally came with my kayak plus I received my shipment next day (Amazon Prime). My kayak is a 12' Nucanoe Frontier.

Ordered 2 sets because my Perception kayak has 8 scuppers, 6 are visible and 2 of them are under the seat. The kayak seat was removed by popping open the caps covering the screws and then removing the screws. They stay in place well and keep the water out.

They certainly do the job of scupping... if that's a word.

They work great at keeping the water out of my kayak. I only use them when it’s cold.

These plug’s definitely go in easily, stay put and helps keeping you drier

I have tried many kayak plugs..... this is the best ones on the market. Other plugs leak through the string that is provided to pull the plugs out.... nope not these. I won't use any other type of plug but these.

I bought this for my Wilderness Tarpon expecting them to be a perfect fit. They are not, it's not even a good fit. They do plug the scupper holes and don't let water in, but I have more than 1/2" of the plug sticking above the deck. Sure enough one got lost in short order. They are expensive too, probably 10000% markup on these.

They work really well. Small price to pay to not have a wet butt!
