My son has a low immune system and always at the doctor or hospital for his asthma or pneumonia. After his 3rd stay in the PICU I decided we needed something to help him. A friend of mine gave me some of her doterra to try and we loved it but not the prices. I found a few others and tried them out but they didn’t seem to help. I found this and figured to take a shot and I’m glad I did. He hasn’t has issues with colds or any other viruses. We do combine this at times with the Breathe oils. But it’s great. I also can’t wash his clothes with regular fabric softener/sheets so I have to dry his with dryer balls and I add this to the dryer balls. The smell is amazing. Even my other kids noticed their sheets smelled good when I washed them and dried with the dryer balls. Since doing that and running the oils my kids haven’t been sick and their rooms smell so good and so do His clothes. I’m buying this again. Highly recommend. Fight viruses!!!

This is a version of the age-old mixture of essential oils "Four Thieves." The "Four Thieves" were raiders who stole from dead or dying plague victims in the Dark Ages. They coated their clothing in essential oils that kept them from being infected. There could be some truth to the use of essential oils--fleas are the carrier of plague, from rats to fleas to humans. And fleas are driven off by some essential oils with anti-insect properties. The traditional oils of the "Four Thieves" are Lemon, Clove, Cinnamon, Rosemary and Eucalyptus. Those are the essential oils in this blend. Note that essential oils, though natural in origin, still can provoke sensitivity, asthma, allergy and adverse reactions and should not be used directly on the skin except diluted and never on pets or children. Some of these oils have demonstrated anti-bacterial and anti-viral activity. Whether or not it's beneficial as a cleansing agent in diffusers, or in an oil or cream, you can use them to scent the air and wipe down surfaces diluted in vinegar or soap solution. They leave behind a pleasant scent that invigorates.

I am super impressed with this Thieves Essential Oil. I looked at MANY before settling on this one, and I have to say that I’m glad I chose this particular brand to purchase. I will definitely be buying from them again. I got it super fast...Thanks to Amazon Prime. I immediately opened it, and put a few drops into each of my 3 diffusers. WOW! The whole house smelled WONDERFUL in no time! The strength of a few drops was amazing! I’ve had other Thief/Thieves Essential Oils and none of them were as effectively powerful as this brand. Quite a great value for the money. It comes in a handy screw top bottle with the shake-a-drop top. No leaks!!! :-)

Updated review: so after my initial disappointment, I’m a little more satisfied with this oil. This is of course, not YL quality, which is common sense, but the smell via the diffuser has changed. I’ve found that after 3 days of consistent use, the smell is now more pronounced and pleasant and less medicinal. I would, however, not put this on my skin. My husband has had a cold this week and often has allergy issues. For last 2 nights I placed some cotton balls moistened with this oil inside a knee high stocking then under his pillow, and he commented this morning that it seemed to decrease his congestion. Yay!

We have tried many different oils and blends. This is the BEST we have found and will continue to purchase. The scent is fresh and comforting. We are a funeral home and our families we serve complement our smell. That makes me feel good that we can offer that to our families, a pleasant scent that isn't harsh. Do some history research and look at the history of this blend of oil. You'll be surprised.

I wouldn't say it smells exactly like the YL or Doterra thieves oils I have, but it is obvious that they do use the same blend of oils. And, I am NOT saying it smells bad or artificial or anything, just a little different is all. I do believe this is an effective thieves oil blend, and I will be purchasing more as I need it.

After discovering a similar more expensive blend, which I positively LOVE and CANNOT do with out, I set about finding a more affordable priced product with the same quality. Tah Daaah and Eureka!!!!😀 It’s LESS than half the price of the more popular brand (which I will not mention, psst: YL🤭) 🤯 and if I were blindfolded, I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart!!🤯 Now I can replenish my stockpile without begging for alms on the corner!! 🤲🏼🤑🙅🏽‍♀️😅 👍🏽😅👍🏽 This blended oil has the same great scent and goodness the super pricey brand has and has now won its place as my NEW go-to!!🤩 Flu season, handled!! 💪🏼🤨💪🏼 Add this one to your arsenal and you’ll be oh so glad that you did!👍🏼😃👍🏼

First of all, the bottle arrived leaking and made a big mess. Secondly, the scent is not the same as YL thieves. It’s not unpleasant but it’s not the scent I was hoping for. I’ll keep it but don’t plan to order again.

Burning this essential oil is a waste. The smell fades during the burn. So, not therapeutic.
