HI YES IT IS PRESERVATIVE FREE, THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE FACT THAT THE BOTTLES ARE VERY HARD TO USE. PLASTIC IS TOO STIFF! I PREFER TO USE THE SINGLE DOSE ONES MADE BY CLINITAS THE SAME THING IN LITTLE RESEALABLE .DROPPERS THEY LAST FOR 12HRS BEFORE YOU DISCARD THEM YOU GET 30 DROPPERS IN A BOX. A MONTH SUPPLY. HOPE THIS HELPS . PAT

how much hydrate is there, i cant find the details of how many grams anywhere on the description.

Have used it up -but normal amount for that size bottle -it's cheap so just try it.

Can you use this on dogs ?

Absolutely. I have a Cavalier King Charles, with Dry eye, on my Vets recommendation, he said to purchase any hydration drops, suitable for humans. As these are FAR cheaper than Vet products. I have been using this product daily on my dog for two years.

Can you use these with contact lenses

Not to be used when wearing contact lenses - best to wear glasses when treating the eye for dryness
