I’m very impressed with this air fryer! It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly from all sides. The infrared heating element does not seem to be superior to the standard electrical air fryer.. The unit is definitely quieter then our old one and it's footprint is less. Those changes are worth a couple of stars. I love the fact that the outside is metal and the inside is too. The see through cooking area is nice but in my opinion the unit has a major design flaw. The window is 2 transparent sheets separated by an air gap. The air gap is vented at the top and bottom so water, oil, greese and food particles can easily get into this area that has no cleaning access. All the screws that hold the face on the cooker drawer are security screws so if you want to take the glass window apart, you're going to need special tools and a lot of free time to do it. Extremely poor design. The display and operating buttons are not very intuitive and the extra crisp button is very hard to see if it's turned on or off looking down at it. The end of cycle notification is pathetic and can't be heard across the room. For what I paid for the unit I expected a lot better product. The big advertised advantage is the quick heat up time. Pre heating is not required. Unfortunately it doesn't make much difference in reality. It's a great looking air fryer but just does not like up to the hype

The T-Fal air fryer has exceeded my expectations in many ways. This is not my first or second air fryer, but apparently third time is the charm. I only have one negative so I’ll start there, it doesn’t exactly have a preheat setting which is a bit confusing to me but it gets straight to it. The other air fryers I’ve used all had a preheat feature then a put the food in option. However, with that being said, this heats food up so fast and perfectly. There’s a light option that allows you to watch your food cook instead of having to open it to check which I absolutely loved. It’s fully touch screen which makes keeping clean so much easier. It’s SO quiet, like surprisingly quiet, that’s always a plus! The tray inside is not only easy to remove but it’s also dish washer safe, I love this feature the most because cleaning an air fryer is such a pain but that’s not the case here! It has an extra crispy option & extra crispy is what you get not burnt overcooked just extra crispy. It’s easy to use, fast, and efficient. It’s not huge, the tray is definitely on the smaller side which if it was bigger this thing would’ve been as good as it gets. But I’m not mad at the size at all, it works for my household.

Very happy with this purchase and would recommend. The display window gives a good view of food frying. No pre-heating required and is pretty quiet. The cooking basket is large and easy to clean....even easier if you use air fryer liners.

We first received a used product, and replaced it with a new one. Seems to be a good air fryer. It has a good capacity for a family of two. The glass shield makes the life much easier. I recently fried potatoes, chicken, and cutlet. The result is awesome, while it needs much less oil.

Wow! This Tfal air fryer is better than expected. We love the speed of cooking; no preheating needed. The window in the front let's you keep an eye on your cooking without having to open it keeping the heat consistent throughout the cook. This air fryer is easy to use and clean. I purchased liners for messy jobs but don't use them all the time because it is so easy to clean. The highest temp is 450 degrees Fahrenheit but if you use the crispy finish button, it adds 2 minutes to the cooking time. The crispy finish option allows the unit to increase the temp to 750 for the last two min of cooking. The one con and the reason why it's not a 5 star product is the fact that all the buttons do not light up and are hard to see. We keep a small flashlight near by to help. Rosted a whole chicken without any problems. Also makes a full breakfast for one in a pinch. I recommend this unit for it's versatility, easy of use and cleaning, size and speed.
