Drone arrived on time and is surprisingly really good. There was a problem with the battery that customer service immediately addressed by shipping a new battery that works just fine and lasts as long as advertised. I also bought an additional battery. This was my first drone and it hooked me right into the hobby. Easy and fun to fly as long as you start up each time in the correct sequence, meaning you should first power on the drone, then power on the controller and let them self sync (takes like 45 seconds or so), and only then should you plug in your phone. I bought a bunch of extra propellers that I haven't had the need to use as I haven't ever crashed it. The gimbal is a bit hard to adjust until you get used to it, you must learn to just nudge the controller quickly to get the correct angle. The camera takes very good videos and stills. I've since bought more expensive drones but I still use this one for daring missions that I don't put the more expensive ones into. This drone is under 250 grams and doesn't require registration. It is also very compact and comes with a nice carry case that holds the two included batteries and the controller. I am very pleased with this product and can highly recommend it. So far, it has been easy to learn to use it after the initial learning curve for the initial connection with the controller and drone. I had issues getting it to connect but eventually downloaded the manual online and the directions were slightly better than what came with the unit. It basically goes like this: turn on drone, turn on controller, wait up to 40 seconds, then plug in phone with app launched. At least that is the sequence that finally worked for me. Prior to that i had the phone plugged in and the app up prior to trying to turning on the controller and trying to connect to the drone and it wouldn't connect. Anyways, I quickly got used to flying the drone and have tested out the smart return and camera features with success; just note that smart return has the drone shoot straight up in the air (above tree line) before heading back. This means don't press that button until your verticals are completely clear. I really like the 10th anniversary gradient color edition that I ordered and have been having a good time with the drone. Please note that, if you are in the states, you need don't need to register this drone but you do need to take the TRUST test and get your certificate. Keep this on you (digitally on your phone) so that you can present it if the someone asks for proof. I even carry a precision pocket scale with me as this is a quick way to show that the drone is under 250 grams. Overall, I really am enjoying this drone as it is beginner friendly and compact.

Easy enough to fly but only had flown it a handful of times (maybe 5). and the battery on the drone started swelling and quit working. Obviously, a swollen lithium battery isn't safe to use and could cause a fire. Not paying the price for another battery, so another electronic paperweight. I guess you get what you pay for.

Happy to say that after a disastrous experience with a DOA HS175G, which came with a dead remote control, my second redemption of a HS360D which is technically a tier higher version, arrived without problem. Both batteries and remote of the new HS360D charged up well and can confirm that each battery lasts roughly about 30~35 mins before automatic return home kicks in. I was able to take both batteries to a local drone friendly park with my son and did some flying without having to worry about running out of juice every few mins. My initial goal was simply just to get a consumer recreational drone where my son and i can play with that don't die every 5 mins because of the short battery life. the stated 40 mins each battery does last "nearly" as long for a combined 60+ mins. note that the drone will reserve the last 15% or so for automatic return flight, hence my 30+ mins battery quoted estimate. a couple additional bonus features that I didn't know about was the GPS follow that allows the drone to auto follow your phone (which acts as a controller screen), as well as a catapult photography mode. both of which were fun to play around with. Overall with a discounted price that I got it for, which you can regularly find them on 20% or so discount, felt worth it. Note that the onboard SD card recording is not very reliable. It often fails to record. But the drone does record a redundant low resolution copy onto your phone wirelessly and has no way to turn this redundancy off. I find that you have you to reformat the SD card with the drone software each time before flight to more reliably force it to record 4K version onto the SD card. so your mileage in this area may vary. i am only knocking off one star due to this because It was a main advertised feature and I went out to buy a 128GB card. Conclusion: I'd imagine that for most casual consumer recreational use, this should tick off 90% of the requirement. stepping up to a pro grade drone will yield gimbal stabilization photography/video function and more flight time.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the HS360E and it is an amazing drone for a beginner and hobbist. It takes great quality photos and Videos. I was nervous to take it to max altitude of 395 ft but it was rock solid and had no connectivity issues. It is very stable in flight and can handle a slight breeze like it isn't even there. I look forward to learning with this drone as it will be a great confidence builder for a beginning pilot and I hope it lasts as it will probably be my go to drone even when I decide to go to one with headless mode and 360° obstacle avoidance. For a beginner on a budget this little machine can't be beat.

Great drone. It goes quite a distance, good picture quality and wind resistance is good. But unless you have a lot of money to keep up with it, it's not too good. All batteries start to swell up after a few months and some barely fit into the drone. They are super expensive, about 70 dollars a piece. Otherwise it's a good drone itself without the battery problem.

I have several drones now and this is one of my favorites. It has level 5 wind resistance(23mph), so it's pretty stable and it has about 30 minutes of flight time. The distance is really good and it keeps the signal well. It includes all the cables you need, for charging and also for connecting you phone, either iphone or android. It has several quick shots including spiral, catapult, one key ascention, panarama, slow motion, time lapse and gesture cxontrol. It also has tap to fly, circle fly, gps follow me and even visual tracking. It will automatically return to home if it loses connection or the battery gets low. It has a 4K camera, so it takes really good pictures and videos.

Got this for my son. Amazing and awesome. So wonderful to see our property from so high .. took pictures .. and loved the quality. Son is very pleased as am I.

Great product just few issues with the transmitter’s controller battery it has a very low battery life after 2days of purchased. I fully charge the controller for 2 hrs and have a good 40mins with 2 combines drone’s battery each have 20mins flying time, the transmitter’s interface show that I have 60% life on the controller however, after few minutes of flying time my drone already reach over 1000m away and gave 2mins beeping indicator and my drone can’t RTH was not able to locate me with 5g signal or failsafe RTH function . I was fully lost my drone! The controller should have enough time for at least 120mins flying time and able to charge with cable while still able use the controller so it doesn’t drop dead all suddenly or have more accurate transmitter’s battery indicator reading.
