I purchased the Redmi Watch 5 Active on 29 September 2025, and so far I’ve only had to charge it 3 times. The battery performance is excellent. I consistently get 17–18 days from a full charge down to 1%, which is impressive compared to other smartwatches I’ve used. The watch itself works smoothly, syncing well with the Mi Fitness app and delivering accurate health tracking. However, the wristband could definitely be improved. It feels stiff and lacks flexibility, and the holder pin doesn’t look strong and it seems easy to break. For a device with such strong performance, I expected a strap that was more comfortable and durable. Overall, if you value long battery life and solid performance, this watch is a great choice.

Upon downloading the MI fitness app and scanning the QR code, I am experiencing difficulty connecting my watch. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Watch is good according to the price but very light in weight and no any extra straps just a small box which contain a watch and a cable

Amazing watch overall, It does what all the overpriced and expensive watches out there does, and the battery life is exceptional, for this price range, I don't get why anyone will hesitate to buy one, and if you are reading my review and looking for a smart watch for a very good price, what are you waiting for? It's right in front of you, GO GET IT WHILE YOU CAN !!

Reviewed this smart watch first time round. Very impressed, and at a great price. After a nasty accident I don't use or need the step count so much And all the other smart functions work as expected. With aging sight I wanted an easy to read watch, that offered a clear & easy to read day and date functy. And clear clock face on sunny days And decent illumination at night. This does all of that effortlessly. With a multitude of watch faces available, You'll be spoilt for choice, but you will find one you like . At first I went digital display, but now I find the more traditional type of analogue clock face preferable. All in all, I ticks all my boxes. Only downside I personally found was the watch strap. With an injured hand I found it more tricky & annoying to put on securely. So I swapped for an elasticated watch strap ( comes in various colours & you can swap in seconds.. recommended ) Battery life is easily a week plus. So why did I buy two ? Bang on the head meant I kept forgetting to charge it..DOH. So every few weeks it would run out of power and switch off. I searched and bought other watches to supplement this one while I charged it back up..(Casio larger font type, G-shocks & a couple of bog standard watches ) But nothing matched it's performance at a price I was willing to pay. So now when I'm just off out and spot the battery is low, I simply pop the low one on charge & switch on the fully charged one & head out with full awareness of time, day and date, at a glance for the next week or so. How Xiaomi make such quality products at such affordable prices I have no idea, But as a company every item I've bought has been excellent quality .

This is a great smart watch. This looks good with very good finish. The straps are standard size so you can swap them with others. The display size is big for the wrist though the strap itself can be a little small for medium men's wrists. The best thing is the battery as I certainly didn't want a watch that I charge more often than my phone and this one lasts weeks! No issues with connectivity yet and I don't plan on watching this like a hawk. I don't think I can buy an Apple or Samsung watch with just a day's battery life. I do work in data and monitoring and even medical grade devices are off by 5-10% frequently, so anything that gives consistent trends is what you want. Save your money for things that actually matter.
