I LOVE this thing. I have an older car and stereo, and was getting by with aux cord after aux cord. I didn't realize the bluetooth options had come this far since the last time I looked into it. It works and functions exactly as described and was extremely easy to set up, took less than 5 minutes. Its a great price and compact size. I stuck it right on the display screen on my stereo and it's pretty stable with the adhesive. Just remember to unplug the USB before turning off your car so it doesn't drain your battery. It has excellent sound and connection and I love that it has a button for answering and ending phone calls. I live in CA and the hands off your phone laws are getting super strict so this has been a life saver for commutes.

After buying 6 different "Android Auto / Apple Carplay screens" to fit into my 2012 Volt and finding none of them performed to my expectations (my other car is a 2021 Mazda 3, with factory Android Auto, so my expectations were to match that; stupid me, I know. How dare I have high hopes for a product category). I ended up returning all of them and instead, tried a few devices that'd receive bluetooth audio from my phone, and transmit it to the car via an audio cable while powering through a simple USB port. I attempted to get my hands on one of those Anker Roav devices with Google Assistant, but I simply couldn't find any at a reasonable price (are those discontinued? I remember hearing about those a few years ago and though it'd be a good addition to my car if my vehicle didn't have a built-in solution; like my current 2012 volt; but, couldn't find any similar products anymore). So, fine, this one doesn't let me call up the assistant and ask to send a whatsapp message hands-free, but audio quality is great, microphone is good as well; and the addition of physical, pressable buttons for play/pause, rw and ff are an absolute must for me. If there was one thing I'd change, it'd be the colorful light ring around the whole thing. I get the use of a power light, but I'd much rather have a cleaner status led somewhere to keep a simple look in my car, rather than a multi-colored static light that's always on. All in all, I would totally buy this product again and recommend it to anyone with similar needs to mine. A simple, high quality way of adding physical controls and bluetooth audio RX to your car or home stereo.

I had a Bluetooth radio transmitter for last few years. I decided I want something a little updated than what I had. I got it today and hooked it up. Played with it for a while so I can only Pros: 1. Sound quality is amazing because it goes through Aux vs what I had which went through radio 2. Called my husband from garage with AC on and it by the vent. He was quieter than music but I can turn that up. He said I came in loud and clear! Last one I struggled and had to yell. 3. Both my USB and Aux outlet are in my console and it has a long cord that splits off long enough for what I need! Length of cord it amazing. USB is slightly shorter than auxiliary. It's weird but works! 4. You can change songs/control volume/easy call feature which my last one did not have. It's much safer than fumbling with my phone! 5. Flat on the back! I ordered another which I had to return because it was vent application only and I prefer not to put things in my vents. Cons: I have ordered clear double sided tape to run cord down to outlets just waiting for it to be delivered! Updated con: calls while driving are so quiet I cannot hear the other person. Added this to my 2008 MX5 (that I previously added a line input to the Bose stereo). It works GREAT! Plenty loud, no distortion but it's bass heavy. I had to turn the radio bass to zero (was at 3). Bluetooth works great. Connects every time very quickly. Music sounds good. Phone calls are clear. I'm also using a micro SD card in the TF slot. This music also sounds good. The instructions aren't very good regarding using the SD card. This is why I took off one star. With a card inserted the unit defaults to the card AND Bluetooth will not connect. However, I figured out if you press the center button 3 times it will switch over to Bluetooth. If you want to go back to the card press 3 times. When playing music from the card you can skip songs or repeat songs BUT it's going to play whatever music is on the card in order. There's no way to see what's on the card. I wound up putting around 400 songs on the card; sort of a play list. I also like that the light around the device can be turned off. All in all a great product for the price.

Works as expected and sounds great, better sound than a previous Amz purchase item. The only thing I don't like is there's no on/off switch. As long as it is plugged in and has power, it's on and illuminated (rainbow led outline looks ok and helps you find it in the dark). Cords are long enough to hide under dash panels.

My 2023 RAV4 has built in microphones, but either the software sucks or the quality of the microphones suck. I have to talk really loud for the microphones to pick up the right GPS directions. My mom has a very slight accent and basically doesn’t pick her up at all. After plugging this unit into a USB port (3.5mm left unplugged), it gave me issues at first. It was trying to play Spotify through the device itself. But after restarting the car, it all works as it should. I just had to set the call routing on iPhone/General/Accessibility to Automatic. Now we both can talk at normal levels and the GPS voice activation picks ups be address exactly as we say it. When we get calls, it pushes audio through CarPlay. Very happy with this purchase!

Cheap, easy to install, quick and easy connection, what you would expect from a basic bluetooth adapter. But I'm coming back to leave a review because I will be buying a different one to replace it, simply because of the way music sounds when played through it. The audio sounds strange compared to music played from CDs or from other bluetooth adapters. It's as if this adapter applies an EQ or compression effect to whatever audio is played through it. It sounds pretty bad to me as someone with an ear for music, but its subtle enough that it might not bother you. Just be warned.

Ddaaaayummm This is a great product! No static. Just crystal clear sound and super easy to install. I got it for my 2012 Land Rover LR4. Since I don’t want to change the stereo and it connects to the phone extremely easy.

The build quality is solid and better than most alternatives, but the main issue is the streaming quality, which is relatively poor compared to other options.

A great bluetooth receiver for the older car with a mini stereo input jack for connecting your cell phone. In my 2009 Lexus this works really well for being able to hear iPhone podcasts and music via my build in car stereo. Clear and reliable sound. The microphones, (apparently 2 mics) located on face of the receiver works very well, I tested several competitive devices and this one was the clearest and best out of the bunch for phone conversations.
