Mesh Intercom Smart Road Cycling Helmet

Works well and as advertised. The ability to use an intercom with other riders, play music and talk on your phone are all great features. Easy to set up and use. Well worth the money.

Love this helmet! I have bought 3 different styles in this brand plus 2 other brands. I ended up keeping this one. Lightweight plenty of vents the air flows through top of helmet keeping you cool. Have a few suggestions for this brand.. instructions are not very helpful… had to do a lot of searching on how to use it hands free with Apple phone. Sena brand helmets very few have lights at all! This helmet does have a band light in back via app you have 4 settings.. just wished they would put better lighting on front and back. Speakers are pretty decent for a helmet don’t expect home speaker sounds but pretty good. You can still hear traffic while playing music. I ride solo at the moment but I do love my tunes while I ride. Phone calls are great performance is top notch caller on other end can’t tell I’m on a bike with helmet talking. Battery life is great only takes a couple hours to charge. I’m keeping this helmet for daylight riding and bought a cheaper brand helmet that had the best lighting for nighttime riding. Can speak on the group mesh intercom feature. But overall this helmet is very nice. I feel well protected. So if your not really doing any nighttime riding this is the helmet you want for riding during daylight. Like I said instructions are not great you have to go through your phones settings to use hands free voice commands. The helmet turns on every time and connects immediately. I ordered a medium size I feel it runs small.. had to exchange for a large size. I got the matte gray it’s very sleek

Love it. Calls, music, intercom. Works as advertised. Audio quality if not fantastic, but good enough. Doesn't interfere with ability to hear ambient sounds. Easy bluetooth connection.

We bought these so we could chat while on long rides. My husband tends to ride a head of me and this allows him to check in to make sure I am okay. The sound quality is really good. The adjustable strap made fitting easy. It is great quality and we are happy we bought these. The only negative is that you cannot have the open mesh on to communicate while listening to music. It is one or the other.

I had been looking for a helmet to replace my old one, it would no longer hold a charge. All I wanted was one that again had bluetooth capability to answer phone calls & listen to music...what a frustrating search. I finally stumbled onto the Sena, yahoo! It is exactly what I wanted. It looks a little bulky, that doesn't bother me, but fits my more rounded noggin just fine. The sound quality is about what you would expect, not the best but more than acceptable. I would like a little more volume control for the music, its fine for phone use. The mesh feature is nice, as I usually ride alone I'll probably never use it. But as an aside I have Sena communication in my motorcycle helmet, have for years, it works very well meshing with other riders. I suppose the light is a plus as it is always nice to be seen by those more aggressive drivers. Yes, I would recommend this helmet.

Excellent connectivity. Crystal clear sound and microphone

My wife and I are new e-bikers, and we love it. The biggest challenge was communicating while riding. A ton of online research led me to this Sena S1 Mesh Intercom (with Bluetooth) helmet. I bought two of theme here on Amazon. One arrived the same day, the other srrived two days later. I guess because it was a different color. We were excited to put them on and try them out, but even after reading the ENTIRE user’s manual (some 18 pages) and watching all the online videos I could find, we could not make them (the intercom) work. I spent more than an HOUR troubleshooting the problem, I made sure both helmets were fully charged. We successfully turned them on. We successfully turned on the intercom. The helmet even said, “Intercom on. Channel 1.” But no luck. We could not talk and hear each other over the intercom. Following instructions in the user’s manual and from two different AI platforms (which were better than the users manual), we successfully changed channels, did a soft boot, did a hard boot, paired our phones, which worked fine for playing audio, and unpaired them. NOTHING helped to make the intercoms work. So I’m done with these. After more than a full hour of troubleshooting with no solution, I am not willing to spend more of my time trying to get something to work that SHOULD work right out of the box. I’m sending these back to Amazon for a refund. If the manufacturer or vendor (or anyone) sees this and can help me make it work before Dec 4, 2025 (that’s when I’ll submit the return), I will keep them. If that happens, I’ll come back here and update this review. If you are reading this beyond Dec 4, 2025, then I will have sent them back.

This helmet has very nice design, looks modern and is very light. Speakers are okay, could be a tad bit better with a little more bass. Volume control is good. Also, I would love if it came in larger size. I’m an XL in helmet & hat size, but I had to settle for size large which is a bit small. Someone tell design team to make XL for big people please!

Die Unterhaltung miteinander während der Fahrt ist damit soooo viel einfacher! Und das auch über größere Distanzen, wenn man mal nicht gleich schnell einen Berg hoch fahren möchte. Ich möchte den Komfort des Intercoms nicht mehr missen, echt toll!
