Great overall knife. The nitro V steel gets very sharp and stays sharp. My only hang up is the shape of the blade. I liked it in pictures but for daily use, it's impractical. It loses half of its utility with the weird beak shape. Very sturdy well built knife. Won't chip or break easily The bearings could be better but can't complain for the price. One of the cheapest knives with nitro V steel you can find.

I'm a sucker for this blade shape. I actually have three Helmet knives. Kizer quality in materials and action; excellent value for the money.

Kizer makes great knives. I like how nitrov gets razor sharp easily. Smooth, tight lock up, good ergos, just shy of what I wood consider a full size knife. Nitrov for under $50! You can't beat that!

Right size for a utility edc knife. Good deal on a Nitro-V blade. Easy to open with rear flipper and thumb holes. Easy to close liner lock. Very well made by Kizer. Fast action.

This is a pretty good folding knife. As received, the blade was ok, but I was able to improve the edge a bit with a few passes on a fine water stone. The blade is Nitro V, which gets high marks for stain resistance and good edge holding, although no hardness data was given. The sheepsfoot blade is fine for slicing, but far from ideal for penetration and, as such, this will never be my favorite for general purpose knife. The liner lock works well. Opening with the flipper is quick and easy. The thumb hole works less well, I think mainly due to its shape.

Amazing quality and fit, finish, milling inside liners to reduce weight....size is misleading this thing dissappears in the pocket. Great knife.
