Fit perfect like a glove. Very minor fitting required, the casting line need sanded a bit but not badly.

Perfect fit on my Rossi R95 45-70!

Was able to use on my Rossi R95, even though its designed for Marlins. Is a little loose by the receiver, but was able to add small amount of tape before installing it into the receiver then trim so you don't see the tape. This helps. Extremely easy to install. Feels like its made of good quality like all of Magpul's stuff. Bang for your buck.

Great Magpul quality as usual. Gave 4 stars because no instructions. But excellent video on their website.

It has the look, feel and function I was looking for. However the fit is questionable. Yes I have the correct model for this piece. I am not trying to fit this onto an unsupported platform/model. After installing it has left to right movement at the bottom. Researching this it turns out many people have this issue and have to concoct home remedies for it. Based on its design it seems shims would be an easy enough thing to include from the mfg. So be prepared to have to fabricate your own, or some other solution, because this does not mount “rock solid” for every application it covers. Other than that it is still quality materials and function.

No matter what I do or have done to secure after 4 to 6 shots fired out of my r95 30-30, forend stars to rattle. Ammo quiver wrap holds form for now. Do like the wider frame it gives though. With the wrap holding firmly secure

Screws at front of forend cant be tightened enough. Poor quality fasteners.

Looks great and is definitely cheaper than other options. The fit on it could be better. The hand guard had quite a bit of play after I tightened up the screws. I took it off and ran a piece of foam tape across the inside of the guard and this solved the problem. We’ll see how this holds up after hunting season this year.
