One of two locks failed within a day
A right faff to fit and set up involving creating a large hole in your door. I have an enormous collection of tools, but nothing "standard sized" cut the holes the right size. Then another faff setting it to work with alexa. After 1 day one of the two locks I bought stopped responding. They were both close enough to the router - about 10m with 1 wall between. Other wifi kit farther in the same direction still worked. Batteries measured at 1.2V (brand new, 1 day old!). Not even the keypad would operate the lock. Tried a reset etc ... nothing. Locks are about security and trust. Have since removed and am looking to return both locks - leaving big holes in 2 ruined expensive doors.

Will not work on Apple Watch, will not bridge to HomeKit
Happy with lock, easy enough to install and appears to be secure. Functionality is let down as it doesn’t have HomeKit (not available on uk Eufy locks?) and the app shows up on Apple Watch to unlock gate but it refuses to unlock or lock the gate. Will lock through Alexa but you have to verbally give a code to unlock. Deducted 2 stars because of these two issues.

Great product, easy installation, but expect to replace the batteries a couple of times during the year Pros: - Physical buttons work great even with winter gloves (for me this is a huge advantage over touchscreen-type locks) - Can check and lock the door remotely - Easy to use and install - You get a notification if the door fails to lock Cons: - Batteries need to be replaced every ~3 months Usage tips: - You can turn off the lock sound using the app - For security, you can type a longer password and include the real password in it, like: 123102045 (1020 being the real password)

Es muy práctico y fácil de instalar

I installed this Eufy C30 smart lock on October 1st on an interior door (garage entry). The lock is not exposed to extreme cold or weather, yet the battery performance has been extremely disappointing. Since installation, I have already replaced the batteries three times. Today is January 8, and I had to change them again. I primarily used rechargeable 2800 mAh batteries, including: • EBL 2800 mAh • Amazon 2800 mAh I also tested Kirkland non-rechargeable batteries, and the results were no better. For a smart lock installed indoors, this level of battery drain is unacceptable. Constant battery replacements defeat the purpose of a “smart” lock and create reliability concerns, especially for a door used daily. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this lock at all due to poor battery efficiency and ongoing maintenance hassle
