The product that's in question is of average size with a good feel in your hand while you're holding it. Because it's a double edged axe, there is no need to worry about making sure the edge part is facing forward. It does take so getting use to throwing a double edge axe. You have to make sure you're at a safe distance from the target because it does sometimes bounce or deflect from your intended target and come back at you. I really like it and plan to order another one to have a matching set. Good investment, go for it!

No, it's a real throwing axe! Everyone that comes over always wants to throw the Zombie Killer! It's well balanced and easy to throw and stick. My only complaint is that the green paracord handle loosens and comes off. I throw without it now. Still works great!
