Good Game

Great, especially for the price. I can re play the Streets of Rage series from when I was a kid, and now play two players with my kids. Never thought I’d be playing a game from my childhood with my children. Plus, with large TVs at low prices, it is amazing to see this game on a 60” inch screen. although the picture does not Fill the entire screen, it is still far larger than my 13” tube from the early 90’s. And my kids like to play the Sonic series, so you get a lot for your money on this.

I love all of the old games they are amazing and since they made them compatible with xboxone I wanted to try this pretty bad since sega was from my era. I love all of the old video games and am not so great with the new systems probably because I haven't put the effort in to try to figure out the new systems. The only thing I found wrong with this game is that it is very glitchy I think they may need to try to make it a little bit more compatible with the system I'm guessing that's why it glitches so much it runs kind of slow like it lags sometimes. If you're not a huge gamer and you're just playing for fun this game is decent it's okay but if you're somebody that gets pissed off at lagging and games running slow this is not for you because you'll probably punch something. All in all I love the games but it needs to be made better and more compatible to run on the new systems better.

I remember sooooo many of these titles, and owned so very few. Really nice to be able to give them all some playtime. Especially nice is the way it's all bundled together with modern console tech - meaning, you can save, load, and rewind, even if the game wasn't designed with those features. Two examples: Remember Phantasy Star? If you were way down deep in a dungeon and needed to shut off your console, you had to go all the way back to town to store memories; if that wasn't an option, you lost game progress, which is just brutal. Now you can simply save, and resume whenever. Or don't; it's your choice. Remember Golden Axe? If you pressed one pixel down at the wrong moment, you might fall over a ledge and lose a life right before a boss fight. Now you just rewind (LB) a few seconds and adjust your thumb a little... or not, if you're some measure of a masochist. It's your choice. Would be 5 stars, but using those nifty quick save and rewind features can sometimes glitch out the game audio, and the sound gets warbled or echoes on itself. Easily fixed by doing another quick save / quick load, but annoying. I'm glad I bought it.

I Love most of the old school Games!!!

Bought this game for my 8 year old. She is a big Sonic fan and really wanted the game. I played the game and it took me back to my youth. This game has like 50 games inside of it. We have played almost all of them. Some games feel repetitive, like similar games with different characters, but still really entertaining. My daughter says that she really like the game and thinks that other kids will like it too.

I can't believe how much you get for your money with this disc. So many great games that bring me back and they even include awesome features that help you along the way. Some features I wish we had when I was a kid playing these. The ability to save anywhere is so helpful and definitely prevents you from breaking your controller in rage. lol. I'm happy I got this collection. Worth every penny.
