Excellent Value and Extremely Comfortable
I am very impressed with the Columbia Women’s Newton Ridge Plus Amped boots. True to size. Right out of the box they were incredibly comfortable, with no break in period needed. The cushioning and support make them easy to wear for long walks, hikes, or all day errands without foot fatigue. The traction feels stable and secure on different surfaces, and the boots are lightweight while still feeling durable and well made. They provide great support without feeling stiff or heavy. For the quality, these boots are an excellent value for the money. They perform like much more expensive hiking boots while still being stylish enough for everyday wear. Overall, they are super comfortable, reliable, and a great investment.

My favorite hiking boot
Now that I’ve hiked about 50 miles (80km) in these boots, I can confidently recommend them. Not a loose thread in sight. I’ve hiked through creeks, I’ve submerged them in water AND mud. During a particularly treacherous hike, I had to walk through deep mud that covered the entire boot, laces and all. I used my water bladder from my hiking pack to rinse it, and it was back to looking fine. I didn’t take any special steps to clean or dry them, just kept hiking. They’re definitely waterproof, I’ve walked straight through the creek with no issues. I have a wider foot so I chose a wide and I’m glad I did. I feel like I could easily get another 50-100 miles out of these boots before they show any signs of needing replacement. They’re sturdy, the laces are nice and strong too. They’re not too heavy and they are able to fit wool socks into comfortably when I adjust the laces. I’ve even doubled up socks and made the fit. Still comfortable with my summer socks too. I did put in a Dr. schols insert in them just bc I tend to get plantar fasciitis but with the inserts in these boots I’ve actually never felt foot pain even on my longest adventures.

Comfortable and durable hiking boots
I’ve been using these hiking boots (this is my second pair of boots) for several outings, and overall they have performed very well. They feel sturdy and well made, and the materials seem durable. From the first use, they provided good support and comfort without causing discomfort or pressure points. The traction is reliable on different types of terrain, and they offer good stability while walking on uneven surfaces. I also appreciate the fit, which feels secure without being too tight. They are easy to put on and adjust. So far, I’m satisfied with the quality and performance. They meet my expectations and are a good option for hiking or outdoor activities.

Comfortable, sturdy & worth every penny!
After looking through all the reviews on women's hiking boots, I chose these for a trip I have coming up this summer. I thiught I'd have to break these in... NOPE. I have had a knee replacement last year, a hip replacement 10 years ago, a broken foot last year and have back issues so I have a little "swagger" when I walk. I was on my feet all day in Hokas and put these on for errands...wow! These were supportive and super comfortable! They're sturdy yet lightweight. I wear a women's 12 so I usually have to buy men's shoes and I was elated to find the "girly" colors too! I got the light vanilla with pink laces and I adore them! My feet are happy for these too! Slip resistant and provide excellent ankle support. They stayed tied and didn't slip on my foot at all! No pincjong on the toe so the toe box is perfect width and the entire shoe is not too big and not too small! I love these!

Tongues stick out and collect rain and snow
These are very comfortable and warm. They do run small and the wide is barely wide. My feet stay dry and they are light and easy to walk in. But the way the laces slide under the leather logo on the tongue is terrible. If snow is any higher than an inch, the tongues act like a snow scoop. And if it’s actively snowing or raining, the tongue funnels the wet right in!

Nice Trail Shoe - Good Fit - Attractive
I haven't used these on a trail yet but I find them to be an excellent fit. I normally need a 10.5 but because I wanted thick socks and room for a prosthetic, I purchased an 11 wide. It was a perfect fit, quite comfortable. I used them when it was icy out for better traction and I was pleased.

Get them!
10000/10. As a new hiker I didn’t know what shoes to get, and didn’t want to spend a ton of money on my first pair. Boy did I hit the jackpot with these! I ordered half a size bigger knowing I would be wearing thicker socks and they fit perfectly. My feet were comfortable, warm, dry, and SO happy. First hike in them was about 9 miles, through sand and dirt and snow and puddles and they were great. Not a rolled ankle in sight. They are definitely worth the purchase and the price of them made it even better! Even said half way through the hike that i needed to write a review about these because I was so impressed!
