Fast, Reliable and Great Value SSD Upgrade
The Crucial P310 1TB NVMe SSD is excellent. Installation was quick and simple, fitting perfectly into my M.2 slot with no issues. The PCIe Gen4 performance is impressive — the drive feels noticeably snappy when booting up the system, launching apps, or transferring large files. The 1TB capacity is generous and ideal for games, software, and everyday use, and the speeds really help keep everything responsive. It’s also run very quietly and stays cool under load. Overall, a high‑performance, dependable SSD that offers fantastic value for money. Highly recommended for anyone upgrading their storage or building a fast PC.

Fast and good
Crucial P310 1TB SSD Review: A Gen4 Gem That Delivers If you're looking for a high-performance NVMe drive that doesn't break the bank, the Crucial P310 1TB SSD is a standout choice. Built on the PCIe Gen4 interface and housed in the compact M.2 2280 form factor, this drive strikes an impressive balance between speed, efficiency, and value. 🚀 Blazing Fast Performance The P310 leverages Gen4 bandwidth to deliver sequential read speeds up to 7200MB/s and write speeds up to 4200MB/s (depending on system configuration). Whether you're booting your OS, launching demanding games, or transferring large files, this SSD keeps pace with premium competitors—without the premium price tag. 🧊 Cool and Efficient Thanks to its DRAM-less architecture and optimized controller, the P310 runs cool even under sustained loads. It's ideal for compact builds or laptops where thermal management is key. Power consumption is also impressively low, making it a smart choice for energy-conscious users. 🔒 Reliable and Durable Crucial backs the P310 with a 5-year limited warranty and solid endurance ratings. With 600TBW (terabytes written), it's built to handle years of heavy use. The drive also supports modern features like Host Memory Buffer (HMB), TRIM, and SMART monitoring for long-term reliability. 💰 Exceptional Value In a crowded Gen4 market, the P310 punches above its weight. It offers near-flagship speeds at a mid-range price, making it perfect for gamers, creators, and professionals who demand performance without overspending. Whether you're upgrading a gaming rig, building a sleek workstation, or simply want faster load times, the Crucial P310 is a confident, future-proof investment. It's not just fast—it's smart, efficient, and built to last.

Perfect for gaming/secondary laptop drive
Great price considering the times we’re in, speed is perfect for my use case as a secondary drive in my Razer Blade laptop to hold big games. Storage capacity is perfect for a steam library and keeps my main drive free for everything else.

Okay
So far it’s running fine but just know it’s a QLC SSD so it won’t last as long as a TLC SSD but right now there are no problems. My PC boots up in a couple of seconds. It fit very nicely in my motherboard too. Doesn’t get loud at all either. It’s an average ssd, with the durability being average too. The storage capacity is what you picked. (In my case 1TB) overall I would say it’s a value for money.

Fast and reliable to date. A well established brand. Recommended !
I use this drive as external storage with a Mac Mini. Solid performance in terms of transfer rate and seemingly reliable to date. These drives are so easy to install and set up. Tranfer speed is excellent and the 2TB storage capacitiy is more than adequate for my needs. Time will tell for reliability but for now Im getting great value at the price when purchased. Insane speed
Works exactly as it should do. Using an older SSD upgrading to this is exactly what I needed the transfer speed from my older SSD to the NVME was literally like 700gbs of data in 45mins and the loading times for games such as Nioh 3 and Re9 are insanely fast. Usually I wait upto 30s to a minute, whilst the NVME had it down to 5-10seconds and the games were good to go. Crazy good and the price is insane.

Blazing Fast Storage That Transforms Load Times – A Gamer’s Dream SSD
I upgraded my gaming rig with the Crucial P310 4TB SSD, and the difference is night and day. The PCIe Gen4 speeds are insane—I'm hitting sequential read/write speeds close to 7,100MB/s in benchmarks, which translates to near-instant game loads and buttery-smooth texture streaming in open-world titles. My boot time went from 30 seconds to under 10, and massive games like *Cyberpunk 2077* now stutter less thanks to the consistent throughput. The 4TB capacity is a luxury I didn’t know I needed. I've loaded it with my entire Steam library and still have room to spare. Unlike my old SATA SSD, this NVMe drive stays cool under heavy use, thanks to the efficient controller and lack of moving parts. Installation was plug-and-play in my M.2 slot (works flawlessly in both my desktop and a compatible laptop), and Crucial’s software made cloning my old drive a breeze. The only minor downside is the lack of a heatsink, but my motherboard’s built-in shield handles thermals fine. For the price per gigabyte, this is one of the best Gen4 NVMe deals out there—reliable, screaming fast, and backed by Crucial’s solid reputation. If you're tired of storage bottlenecks, this SSD is a no-brainer upgrade! **Pro tip:** Enable Resizable BAR in your BIOS for extra gaming performance. Say goodbye to loading screens!

Works on MacBook pro late 2013
Bought it used - new Upgraded the internal ssd of my macbook pro late 2013 a1502 from 256gb to this Crucial P310 NVmE m.2 ssd. Used an adapter to allow the crucial ssd to be read by the machine. Very simple process; remove back-cover, disconnect battery, remove old ssd. Fit new ssd to adapter and fit the whole thing to the motherbaord. The clearance for the screw holding it all together is perfect. New Mac OS installed via internet recovery after the ssd was formatted. Using it for a couple of days with no issues. Obviously an improved performance throughout the system. My laptop can't really exploit the full potential of this ssd due to system limitations, yet for the price (even better from amazon warehouse) it is a good buy. Cant comment on longevity but the brand is reputable from what I have thus far read.
