Just what I needed!
My Catholic faith is very dear to me but I don't always know how to put into words when I'm talking to others about why I believe what I believe and why I do the Catholic things that I do. I've been looking for a book that has sound Catholic teaching but makes it accessible to someone like me who, though a practicing Catholic my whole life, nonetheless doesn't always know how to explain things. I'm so glad that I found A Well-Built Faith. Reading Mr. Paprocki's book is like having a good mentor right with me. And I'm glad for all the references to the church's teaching and to the Bible.

This is a perfect book for both Catholics and non-Catholics to understand the beliefs and rituals of the Catholic Church. Well written and simple!

Excellently accessible
This is the text I use for my parish’s OCIA/RCIA class. Very well written. Very clear description of each aspect of essential teaching. Very accessible for learning. I use this text for adults, but do not use it in class. This is the book we hand out for use when a student misses a class. They can play catch up with the topic or topics of discussion so they can stay on track.

Very good basic introduction to the Catholic faith
A great resource for those considering Catholicism. It breaks down the faith into basic sections and beliefs. Well-written and concise book which relates a basic understanding of the core beliefs of the Roman Catholic faith.

Great for RCIA classes
I am a director of youth and adult formation and teach RCIA. For years I’ve used a different book for RCIA but changed this year to this book. So far everyone is really enjoying it. It’s easy to read and understand for those coming into the faith.

Learn about the faith and why it is important to share
It explains the Catholic faith in easy to understand and remember terms. It follows both the Catechism of the Catholic Church in the sections it presents. Chapters end with a section called "So What." which explains why the it is important to the reader.

Learn More About the Catholic Faith
I sent this book to my sister after she asked me some questions. I knew this would be the perfect way for her to learn more about our Catholic faith. All of Joe's books are for the learner and the seeker.

Basics but more....an easy read.
This is a wonderful book explaining the basics of the faith but going deeper. An easy read - not too theoretical so that anyone can read and learn from it.

Great read for protestants too.
As a Protestant I really enjoyed reading this book! My only critique is that the author’s view of Protestant beliefs (only spoken of to differentiate between the two forms of Christianity from time to time) is grossly generalized to perhaps one group from the southern United States, and aren’t reflective of Protestants as a whole. However I found this book deeply faith building and helped me understand Catholicism much better.
