The media could not be loaded. This thing is a BEAST. First and foremost, its main feature: speed. This thing reads as close to instantaneously as any thermometer possibly could. The ONE in the name is for “one second,” and I would say its read time is even faster than that. After tons of frustration with how slow cheaper thermometers were, I finally splurged on this and it was worth every penny. Besides its superb accuracy and speed, it has all the bells and whistles. Stuff I didn’t even know I wanted. It automatically powers on and off when you slide the arm away from / back into the base. It has a huge, backlit, highly readable screen. It has an internal gyroscope that automatically switches the screen to any of 4 directions so that you can read it no matter what angle you’re holding it. It’s built like a tank. It’s IP67 water resistant. This is the endgame of kitchen thermometers. It’s expensive, but it’s worth every penny and then some.

Does what it says with a minimum of interruption. Take it out, know the temperature of whatever you're cooking almost instantly, put it away. Seriously so much better than waiting for a normal thermometer to settle. This is a precision instrument, and it feels like it. Not only is it the fastest thermometer I've ever owned, it's probably the most accurate too. What else is there to say?The fit and finish is very high quality, there are no gaps or grooves for food stuff to get stuck in, it's very smooth with very few spots for food splashes to get stuck so it is easy to keep clean. Feels like a high quality item and the plastic housing feels of a quality like it will easily withstand years of kitchen use being kicked around in a utensil drawer. This product is purpose built to be an efficient, high quality tool in the kitchen.

This is a terrific thermometer - super accurate and responsive, and very easy to use.All that is required is to open the thermometer probe from the storage position and then place it on or within whatever you want to measure. It immediately shows the temperature, with great accuracy.Although a bit expensive, this is a thermometer that I am very happy with and satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this after seeing a recommendation from American test kitchen.It’s replacing a $10 digital temperature probe I bought from a local store.Major upgrade. The old probe use to take 20-40 seconds to get a reading that would fluctuate. Thermapen one does it instantly and gets the temperate correct.The build quality is great and I like the back light and rotating screen.Because it reads so fast it’s great when checking over a hot pan or in the oven.It’s expensive but I feel like it’s worth it. Couldn’t be easier to use, you just fold out the probe.Never guess if your food is done cooking, use this and you’ll know for sure.

This is a fantastic tool in my kitchen. I do lots of airfrying and I need to check the temperature of meats. This does the job very quickly and accurately. I recommend this to anyone who does much cooking. The durability is so much better than my past thermometers

My brother strongly suggested that I purchased this product. We both do a significant amount of cooking and baking. It is an excellent and well worth thermometer. Accurate regardless of what you're testing it on.

This is a very accurate, fast-reading, easy to use/clean thermometer. I'd give it a 5 star if the probe's pointed tip nested into the recessed area as it was designed but the folding probe does not fold in tight enough for the tip to remain in the recessed area, I push it in and it pops back out. This doesn't affect performance of the device but it does mean I have to carefully handle it so I don't poke my hand. In the photo, as-designed, probe-tip should rest in the recessed area so you can't poke yourself and the tip can't snag on other items in your drawer (I'm pushing on the probe to get it to seat properly, if I release hand-pressure it will go to the photo on the right). Photo on the right is as close as the tip gets to the recessed area when closed.
