Super excited to have this as part of my craft set now! Newly picked up sewing and found a load of materials second hand. I had one of these from shein but it was poorly made. This is very sturdy! It also comes with replacement blades so when I need to, I have new blades, these blades look as though they will last a while though as they’re sharp! The grip is also very comfortable for my arthritis hands, sometimes the sizing of the handles can make it painful to use - not this one!

I purchased this as I intend to start quilting, and it seemed like a good starter package. The cutting mat seems ok. I have used it several times, and there are no signs of scarring. The rotary cutter is also ok. I had to press harder than I expected to, but since I had never used one before, this may be normal. The cuts I am getting are clean and sharp. I haven't used the sewing clips yet, but they look the same as the ones I already have, so they should be ok. The scissors are useless. The packet they came in says they are office scissors. They just manage to cut paper but not fabric. The ruler is the worst thing in this set. The numbers are tiny and difficult to read with my ageing eyes. The worst thing was the accuracy. I checked it against an engineering ruler that I know is accurate. Over the length of the ruler, it was 3/4 of a centimetre out. I had hoped there would also be imperial measurements on the ruler, as all the designs I have collected are in inches. In summary, the mat is good, the cutter is ok, the clips seem fine, the scissors are going into the kitchen drawer, and the ruler is going in the bin.

It looks and feels robust. Definitely makes cutting fabric (or patterns) easier. Good compliment to a pair of tailor's scissors.

This is a really good, sharp cutter - and I wonder why it took me so long to get one! I know people use them to cut fabric for quilting, but I use it for leather and it cuts through it like paper. Just great! Has extra blades too and it is very easy to use and has a push button lock when not in use. Excellent value.

I just started doing quilting & needed some accessories, but didn't want to spend a fortune in case I was no good at the craft & gave up! I bought this one to try & it was so cheap, I figured it would be basic, but it is actually really solid & easy to use. It locks so you don't have to hold down the button to get it moving & if you press hard enough it slices very easily & accurately. Comes with replacement blades. Such a bargain. Very happy with this purchase & the best thing, it is pink, which co-ordinates with all my other craft items.
