How much does it wiegh?

Not much... easy to lift. Be sure your chair is secure when getting up or you will land on the floor!

Can this be used on a dining chair without arms on the chair?

I spose it could. For me, the arms are a must to get up with anyway. However, I use mine at church and there are no arms there. Just be sure what ever u sit in, does not have wheels on it, cause that chair will take off on ya and u will find out just how hard the floor is!

Can this be used on a couch or a recliner?

This does not work well on a sofa, must be on a hard surface but not on a sofa
