No spear
I'm confused if my box was missing the most important part, the spear, or if that's sold separately. If so, I cannot find how to order what goes with this gun. Can anyone help?

Para el precio que tiene me parece muy bien, normalmente, yo no doy reseñas pero tengo mucho tiempo usando este producto y no me ha fallado asi que lo recomiendo, lo único que si tuviera como guardar la cuerda cuando esta cargado sería perfecto.

Horrible Do Not Buy
First of all the description is misleading. There's no spear included nor any accessories for anything. There's no instructions or suggestions on these accessories either. It's complicated and annoying to go and find a spear (shaft), tip, then line to keep the fish from running away. Go with Cressi or some company that isn't as obtuse as Seac and has matching accessories or an all in one kit. What a waste. Also it takes 7mm shaft aka spear bodies, which you need to separately buy tips for.

Spearfishing Pistol
I bought the shortest version of this, so I could swim while hunting (Lion Fish). I like the light weight and materials used, but the accuracy and power are less than desired. This is to be expected, i presume due to the shorter shaft and only having one band, instead of two. One handed shooting is inaccurate, improved when one grips the stock or handle with two hands. Discharge is noisy and the spear is slow, so I find it necessary to lead the fish. Also, with such a short stock, it is necessary to get very close before firing, with an overall range of +/- 6 ft. The SEAC New Sting Sling has a place in my arsenal, but is not one of my favorites. Perhaps good for young spearos just learning, and certainly for close combat, under reefs and ledges, which we find often here in P.R...
