Had for a few months now they fit well seem to work well comfortable et cetera. They do the job and seem to do it well.

Not so different from the original

These ear pads fit well in my airpods max. They are a nice color and go well with my blue one. They are comfortable on my head for an extended period of time. They do not impede any sound and the most important part is I hear no difference in the ANC. ANC works as good as OEM. I have ordered pairs where the ANC no long works as well and considering how good the MAXs are with canceling noise, that's the most important part other than comfort.

I have the older version of the AirPods Max, but these ear cushions fit perfectly. From trying it on, the cushion from the newer version of the AirPods Max fits the older version. I own the older (lightning) version of the AirPods Max and these cushions fit without any issues. Can you tell which is the original and which is the generic in my photos? The R is OEM and L is generic. The cushions feel just the same as the OEM, but there are three notable differences: 1) The magnetic force that I felt when replacing these ear cushions is very different between the OEM and these generic ear cushions. The generic magnet was not nearly as strong as the OEM magnets. 2) The OEM cushion feels more soft and supportive, while the OEM cushion felt rougher and flatter against my skin. 3) The generic cushion didn’t have a good seal and the noise cancellation felt more effective with the OEM cushion. At around half the price of the OEM cushions, I think these are a good budget version of the original, but if you are looking for the same quality as the OEM, I would say these generic cushions are only about 80% of the quality of the OEM cushions.

Time will tell if they hold up as good as official Apple ones, but they look and feel excellent! First impressions are very good, as the cushioning is actually thicker than the official Apple cups. I bought them as a gift to my girlfriend, and I feel like they’ll be more comfortable. Good stuff!

I’m back to leave another review after purchasing my second pair. I originally reviewed these on January 3, 2026, and after several months of daily use, I didn’t hesitate to order them again. For me, replacing ear cushions every five to six months is simply part of keeping headphones clean and fresh. Everyone’s replacement schedule will vary depending on how often they’re used, workouts, climate, and personal preference, but I think it’s a reasonable interval from a hygiene standpoint. My decision to replace them wasn’t because they failed—it was because I wanted a fresh set. The fit is excellent, installation takes less than a minute thanks to the built-in magnets, and they attach just like Apple’s originals. The memory foam is comfortable for long listening sessions, and the mesh fabric remains breathable throughout extended use. At $21, these are an outstanding value compared to Apple’s replacement ear cushions, which cost $70. You’re getting a premium-feeling product at roughly one-third of the price. I also appreciate that they fit perfectly inside both the original Apple Smart Case and my replacement Smart Case without affecting Sleep Mode. The fact that I came back to buy a second pair says everything. I’d absolutely purchase these again and continue recommending them. Five stars.
