Nice little box cutter. I grabbed the pink one that has sprinkles and it always catches everyone's eye. Has not blade play and holds the blades in place nice and firm. Quick and easy to deploy with thumb stud or with axis/crossbar lock It has a very nice little clip that so far has proven to be durable and reliable in clipping it to pants. Very small and easy to conceal. So light you forget it is there. Safely designed and you don't need to worry about the point sticking out. Maybe I am asking too much but purple sprinkles would fit in nicely. Full liners too. Still 5 stars. Would buy again.

I’ve been carrying the OKNIFE Otacle U1 for about three months now, and I’m genuinely impressed with this folding utility knife. It has quickly become my go-to EDC tool, and here’s why I think it deserves five stars. The first thing you notice when you pick up the Otacle U1 is the solid construction. The aluminum handle feels substantial without being heavy, and the fit and finish are excellent. There’s no blade play whatsoever, and the tolerances are tight. The ergonomics are well thought out, with the handle providing a comfortable grip for extended use. The pocket clip is positioned perfectly and has just the right amount of tension to keep the knife secure without making it difficult to remove. The D2 steel blade holds an edge remarkably well. I’ve used this knife for everything from opening packages to breaking down cardboard boxes, cutting rope, and general utility tasks around the house and workshop. Even after weeks of use, the blade remains sharp enough for clean cuts. When it does need sharpening, the D2 steel responds well and takes a nice edge. The flipper mechanism is smooth and satisfying. After a short break-in period, the knife deploys with a crisp action that feels reliable every time. The liner lock engages solidly and inspires confidence during use. I’ve never had any concerns about the blade closing unexpectedly, even during harder cutting tasks. The ingenious utility blade holder feature sets this knife apart from standard folders. Being able to swap in a fresh utility blade for particularly tough or messy jobs is incredibly convenient. This dual functionality means I’m carrying essentially two tools in one compact package. This thing is small, extraordinarily well built, and has a tip up clip. Super easy to flick open, before oiling, and secure mounting of the blades. The only (very minor) drawback is that you need pliers to grip the blade change knob, but I will take that, as it is very secure in holding the blade spine, and allowing full use of the edge. Great pocketknife! As an update, included is a piece of 550 cord, and the little tool pictured.... it is tucked away in the box and I missed it previously..... if you tue the lanyard on, you have a blade change wrench on the cord......

This is the coolest utility knife I’ve ever had. I was sold immediately when I saw they came out with this in the green micarta scales. It’s an awesome looking knife. It’s a smaller knife and fits perfectly in the 5th coin pocket on pants. It fits very well in the hand especially for someone like me with small hands. It’s very functional especially since they designed it to give you access to almost all of the cutting edge. They give you some parachord and a multitool in the box. The parachord is the perfect amount to make a snake knot lanyard which I recommend doing to help pull the knife out of the pocket because without it sometimes it could be a little difficult. I highly recommend keeping the multitool with you when carrying the knife. I keep mine on my keychain. The tool has a cutout that is a wrench for tightening and loosening the blade retention screw. You can use your fingers if you wanted but with the tool you can tighten it enough to where it will not back out over time with use. I have spent hours flicking open and closing the knife and have had no issues with the screw backing out. The knife is running on ball bearings so it’s very smooth and snappy when opening and closing which also makes it fidget friendly. I have no negative things to say about this product. Just get you one. It’s 100% worth every penny.

The pivot is strange. It's simultaneously crunchy, and very free turning. There's no resistance to it swinging around at all, but it does not feel smooth. The screw to lock the blade down is tough to get tight enough by hand, I use small pliers. The spine being thicker than the blade is unavoidable for a utility blade holder like this, and it does have the drawback that the spine can snag a bit when cutting through sheets (like cardboard) Those are my only gripes. Other than that, it's a solid little inexpensive edc knife. There's very little to no blade play when locked. It's very easy to operate one-handed. Exposing so much of a utility blade is an excellent idea and works great. It's thin and light. Definitely recommended.

I absolutely love this thing. It's everything I didn't know I needed in a utility knife. It exposes the maximum blade length, it holds the blade completely securely with no play, it fits well in my hand, it has butter smooth opening and closing action, a very nice open/close locking mechanism, it frankly looks cool... it's fantastic. It's like a decent proper knife with the features to match, but it's a utility knife with a replaceable blade. The only thing I don't like about it is that the screw which holds the blade so securely could be prone to over-tightening / stripping and requires a tool (either the one that is included, or a set of pliers to grip the tightening screw securely). Maybe it's not necessary to crank it down so hard, but I'm just matching the torque that I had to undo from the factory. When I didn't go so hard on it, the blade did seem like it could be prone to some movement (but still no more, and far less than the crap you get at the big box stores from "name brands" which just rattle around in the housing). Still, it's the one thing that isn't perfect.

UPDATE: 6 months later and although the clip broke this knife has gone through countless blades changes and still opens and closes like it did day 1! Working in a warehouse requires equipment that can be used and reused. Box cutters are imperative and I have gone through tons of different brands and styles over the years. Milwaukee, DeWalt, Snap-On, Craftsman, Hart, Olfa, Anvil, Gerber....and everything in-between. Up to this point the small lock back by Milwaukee was my personal EDC. Small and lightweight, yet very durable. It has a deep and strong pocket clip that kept it in place. It was also very easy to change the blade. That said I saw this one and can say with great certainty that it has all the other does and more. Along with having a thumb stock for precision one handed opening, it also features a much longer blade length for using the same utility blades (moreso than the Gerber EAB). And I will say the thumb screw to hold the blade does a great job of holding in the blade with no play and rattling like some "quick-change" cutters. It is also incredibly lightweight but also doesn't feel cheap due to having very solid construction. The machined edges mean it is comfortable to get a solid grip on it to do heavier work if necessary.... .....I could go on and on.... The point is, this box cutter is incredibly well thought out, designed, and built with quality materials and attention to detail. So, as I said in the title, this is the knife you have been looking for!

Awesome little knife. Looks good and has many styles available. Bought to use for opening all these darn Amazon boxes that keep showing up at my house and dulling out my pocket knife or kitchen knife. Whoever this one starts to get dull it’s super easy to pop a new blade in. It has held up very well.
