Brilliant bits of equipment, let down by low quality screws, buy better screws and they're adequate for holding doors shut on a canal cruiser when the boat rocks in wake.

Magnet strength is okay but the screws supplied too big and no allowance to be countersunk on the magnet. Therefore protrudes too much so magnets can’t connect. Was going to return but we glued them instead of using the screws. Hope they last….

I use these on my rooster coops because they learned how to throw their bodies into the door and free themselves with store bought magnetic catches that I previously purchased. They cannot do that anymore with these Heavy-Duty Magnetic Door Catches. I love them so much, I also purchased the Medium Door Catch for my hens coops. Spoiler alert: They also work very well. I could not be happier with this purchase!

Actually too strong for my intended use on pantry doors. Will pull them closed hard and have to really yank to get open. So it fulfills the description just wasn’t helpful for my use.

Its just arrived but it was rough to look at - the stainless steel was all pitted and scratched. Not at all like the pictures. I'm going to have to try to remove the screatched before I put it on

I have a dumb corner cabinet door that I hate. I have cats that figured out how to open it. This is where I keep cereal, bags of rice and other tall grocery items. I'd often open my cabinet to find they'd destroyed my boxes of cereal and bags of rice. The lighter strength typical cabinet door magnets weren't strong enough and other type latches wouldn't work because of how door is constructed. We've had these a month or so and the cabinets are catproof! PROS: Very strong. I have to give a good tug to open the door. Excellent for cabinets that are odd structure that conventional latching systems won't work on. Price is very good given the size and strength of the magnets. *you can see, in second photo, the magnets we first had on(very top and middle) for size/strength reference.
