The SwitchBot Air Purifier works surprisingly well for its size. It does a great job circulating and cleaning the air, and I noticed an improvement in air freshness after just a short time of using it. The standout feature for me is definitely the app control, being able to manage the purifier from my phone is incredibly convenient, whether I’m adjusting settings from the couch or turning it on before I get home. The only downside is the built-in scent diffuser. It doesn’t perform as well as I hoped—the scent is very faint and doesn’t spread evenly through the room. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does fall short compared to the purifier itself. Overall, if you’re looking for a solid air purifier with great smart features, the SwitchBot is a strong choice. Just don’t expect too much from the scent diffuser.

This product is amazing. We have 3 of them. We can tell a huge difference. The air seems fresher and I have not had as many issues with allergies. We have two dogs and it has helped with their scent. If you like ambient noise to sleep these are great to run overnight in the bedroom on a higher setting. The sound of the fan is soothing. On a lower setting it is very quiet and we have questioned it being on (it was for the record). It does pick up smells easily, like cooking or hair spray. The ambient light is customizable. They are easy to program and the app interface is easy to use or you can just push the buttons on it. The app also works with other products so you do not have multiple apps for various things.The tray on top gives a bonus shelf and helps push the air out and not just up. They do take up a little space but it is not too bad. Their are child locks on the buttons and small children cannot get their fingers in it. One of my kids struck a ripped up card in it and it held up well and did not malfunction. It was packaged well. They are fairly light weight for the size and the round shape is nice too. Nice construction and sleek. Cleaning it is not a hassle and can be done in less than 5 mins. This product is more than worth the money.

This is my second SwitchBot Air Purifier. Returned the first one as suggested by their customer service rep. First one had a faulty “Odor sensor.” The rep tried his best to troubleshoot via online chat to no avail. The replacement, the one I’m reviewing now has the same exact problem. “Odor” sensor is non existent. They should really remove that from the product listing. I decided to keep it because of its wide area coverage. It does have a very strong fan when you need to crank it. Other than the missing odor sensor, this air purifier works well with managing our dog’s hair. I have another air purifier and this one sucks and holds the floating pet hair in its pre filter securely. I like the ambient lighting that changes color when there are contaminants in the air. I’ve seen the light color change from blue to green only one time when we were frying food and someone didn’t turn on the stove fan. I do wish I can see the PM 2.5 reading line on other air purifiers. This leads me to the “About PM 2.5” guideline. I know there was an update that changed the scale from higher numbers to lower numbers. I have the latest firmware version. On the app the table will fluctuate between the older higher readings to the lower readings. Just randomly changing when I check it. The new unit also has a slight fan wobble which causes a very slight vibration. So I’m not sure how long it will last. Designs-wise, I like the cylindrical air purifiers compared to the flat ones. The pre filter traps pet hair and bigger contaminants effectively. The carbon pellets do a great job at reducing or removing odors, but I have to manually set the fan on high because the odor sensor doesn’t exist. The Hepa filter also cleans the air really well. It’s not too big and fits right near any corner or even middle of the house. Leaving on auto at night keeps the fan noise down. Overall, I’m not sure it’s worth the money because I wanted that odor sensor to work. I even confirmed with their customer service that it does have one. There goes one star. Let’s see how long it lasts.

Love this air purifier. It works great. Love the color lights and the app. The aromatherapy on the side is great for essentials oil. It’s what I been looking for. I’m so happy I found it. It’s like a fancy air purifier. It’s not too noisy. My pets love it too.

The SwitchBot purifier is a nice unit for the price. It is quiet on sleep mode and the light on it can be adjusted to whatever color you want or to keep track of the condition of the filter. I found it does go off line more than other devices, but tends to reconnect most times. It was pretty easy to set up and start using. I have two units in bedrooms. So far, no odors from it and it has seemed to keep the dust down from what it was before I started using it. The build is good, I would recommend this.

This works wonders! I love how the light colors tell you when the air is really bad with the red. For example, we cooked fish and the air purifier completely cleaned the air off the fish smell. My house never smells like my dogs either. Works amazing!

As of right now this device is a Piece of junk , and nothing else , i wouldnt suggest to buy it! Worked great for less than 2 weeks . Noticed the light color changed, opened the app, no control function worked, no available air quality history, app said device disconnected ,but for some reason i was able to turn the device off with the app , then back on , then off again .. after that nothing ... Tried to re-pair the device , deleted the device in the app , reset the device ( holding down the power button for 15sec) , disconnected from power supply for 1-2 min, tried to re add the device in the app , no sucess ... Just errors ... " failed to connect " , and random shutdowns, reboots . Noticed in the app , the default setting is " Automatic update ". Probably it was a update what destroyed the functionality for this air purifiers. I like the design and functionality , so im going to give a second chance for the product. Luckily im still in the 30 day return window ,so instead fo requested a refund, requested a replacement . Only 2.4ghz wifi is supported ... Update 05/13/2026 Received the replacement air purifiers , setting up is took less than 3 min , connected to the app via bluetooth , set up wifi , all control function working fine from the app and on the device, come with 2.3 firmware , updated manually to 2.5. ( first thing i did disabled te automatic firmware update ) Updated my rating to a 3 star from 1, if the device keep functional at least longer tan 2 weeks :) , going to update the star rating to a 5 star product. Side note , Switcbot customer service was not involved in the return process ,as the device give up on me after less than 2 weeks. Not sure how the switchbot customer service would be handling the issue , hopefully i never need to know :)

Lo compré porque en una esquina del dormitorio tengo un poco de humedad que a veces genera moho, y me daba cosa dormir con eso tan cerca... La verdad, me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Pensaba que era más pequeño (culpa mía por no mirar bien las medidas), pero al final ha sido mejor así: lo estoy usando incluso como si fuera una mini mesita de noche y queda genial. El diseño es moderno y discreto, y la luz LED le da un toque muy chulo. Puedes elegir el color o dejar que cambie solo según la calidad del aire. La app es súper intuitiva, se conecta rápido y te permite controlarlo todo desde el móvil. Lo tengo configurado en modo automático y es un gustazo ver cómo él solo se ajusta según el aire. En cuanto al ruido, casi ni se nota, sobre todo en modo sueño. Literalmente me olvido de que está encendido. Y eso que soy bastante sensible a los ruidos por la noche. No puedo opinar todavía sobre el cambio de filtros porque lo tengo desde hace poco, pero de momento me ha dejado muy contento. Lo recomendaría sin dudar, sobre todo si tienes mascotas o problemas de posibilidad de humedad o moho para sentirte más seguro

Ich bin von dem SwitchBot Luftreiniger absolut begeistert. Er reinigt die Luft wirklich sehr gut. Im Auto-Modus regelt das Gerät die Luftqualität komplett selbstständig. Sobald die Luft sauber ist, fährt der Lüfter stark herunter, läuft dann extrem leise und misst die Luftqualität dauerhaft weiter. Besonders positiv: Ohne Licht und im Automodus bei minimaler Lüftergeschwindigkeit verbraucht der Luftreiniger nur 1 Watt! Auf Volllast steigt der Verbrauch zwar kurzzeitig auf etwa 47 W, aber das auch nur so lange, bis die Luftqualität wieder im grünen Bereich ist. Danach dreht er deutlich langsamer herunter – sehr effizient gelöst. Die SwitchBot App funktioniert reibungslos, alles läuft stabil und ohne Probleme. Zeitpläne lassen sich ebenfalls einstellen, sodass das Gerät zu bestimmten Zeiten komplett aus oder eingeschaltet ist. Es macht seine Arbeit auch ohne App sehr gut. Die LED-Beleuchtung finde ich richtig gut: Sie sieht nicht nur schick aus, sondern zeigt auch direkt die aktuelle Luftqualität an. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann den SwitchBot Luftreiniger uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen für jeden, der einen zuverlässigen, sparsamen und smarten Luftreiniger sucht.

Ho recentemente acquistato il purificatore d'aria SwitchBot e devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla sua efficacia e praticità. Nonostante la scatola esterna fosse arrivata con qualche segno di "battaglia" dovuta alla spedizione diretta, l'imballaggio interno ha protetto perfettamente il dispositivo, che è arrivato già pronto all'uso, completo di alimentatore e manuali in diverse lingue. L'installazione è stata un gioco da ragazzi: semplicemente collegato alla corrente e l'app SwitchBot l'ha riconosciuto in un istante. Un dettaglio che ho apprezzato molto è lo sportellino calamitato per accedere al filtro. Si sfila e si reinserisce con una facilità disarmante, rivelando un filtro di dimensioni generose che promette ottime prestazioni. Analizzando il sistema di filtrazione, troviamo un intelligente pre-filtro esterno pensato appositamente per catturare peli di animali (un vero plus per chi ha amici a quattro zampe!), seguito dal fondamentale filtro HEPA e da un filtro ai carboni attivi. Un consiglio: ricordatevi di rimuovere l'involucro di plastica che protegge il filtro prima del primo utilizzo, accedendo al vano. Una chicca interessante è il piccolo cassettino dedicato agli oli essenziali. Personalmente non l'ho utilizzato perché preferisco un ambiente semplicemente purificato nella mia camera da letto, ma l'idea di poterlo usare anche come diffusore è sicuramente un valore aggiunto per molti. Anche senza utilizzare l'app, il purificatore offre un controllo basilare tramite i pulsanti fisici presenti sulla parte superiore. Altro elemento che mi ha colpito è la luce, non solo funge da piacevole illuminazione ambientale, ma cambia colore in tempo reale per indicare la qualità dell'aria, un'informazione visiva immediata molto utile. L'integrazione con Alexa è stata immediata e senza intoppi, permettendomi di accendere e spegnere il purificatore con un semplice comando vocale. L'app SwitchBot è ben strutturata e intuitiva: in pochi tocchi si possono regolare la velocità della ventola, gestire l'illuminazione e monitorare i dati sulla qualità dell'aria rilevata dal sensore integrato. Esperienza d'uso: Da quando ho posizionato il purificatore in camera da letto, la differenza nella qualità dell'aria è tangibile. Si percepisce una freschezza e una pulizia notevoli, e ho notato anche una riduzione degli odori, molti parlano anche di problemi diminuiti con l’allergia, spero che dia un aiuto anche in questo, valuterò col tempo…La modalità sleep è una vera benedizione: il livello di rumore dichiarato di 20dB è assolutamente veritiero, tanto che durante la notte il purificatore è praticamente impercettibile, garantendo un sonno tranquillo. Conclusione: Nonostante il piccolo inconveniente della scatola, il SwitchBot Purificatore d'Aria si è rivelato un acquisto azzeccatissimo. La facilità d'uso, l'efficacia nella purificazione dell'aria e le funzionalità intelligenti come l'integrazione con Alexa e la silenziosa modalità sleep lo rendono un prodotto altamente consigliato, soprattutto per chi cerca un miglioramento concreto della qualità dell'aria in casa. Un investimento utile per la salute e il benessere!

Surprisingly high quality—and much larger than I expected. The moment I start cooking, it quietly comes to life on its own, and it’s almost graceful how it senses particulate matter drifting from across the room, despite my hood fan roaring at full blast. The 4000-hour HEPA-13 hospital-grade filter truly makes all the difference. For the $140 I paid, the value is outstanding. The unit is whisper-quiet on low and blends seamlessly into the background—even at higher speeds it’s barely more noticeable than my regular HVAC system. The only thing that breaks the magic is the colored light indicator. With so few LEDs, the colors tend to blend together, making it hard to tell exactly where the air quality stands. I’d love to see a future version with clearer indicators—or even a gentle voice announcement for real-time updates. There’s also a bit of a wait when opening the app; it takes around 30–40 seconds to sync, which can test your patience. Even with those minor flaws, its Matter support is a major plus. It fits seamlessly into a future-ready smart home and has been a surprisingly impressive addition to mine

So good we purchased a second one. Connected to the internet and available in Apple Home using Matter. It has stand alone options in the app t schedule working times which is great in the bedroom to have the room clear in the evening and turn off in the morning without having to worry about turning it on and off at given times. The fan is powerful and will help make a difference in the air quality in just a few minutes. Practically silent once the air quality is at a good level, This is ideal for a bedroom and as for me as an allergy sufferer it makes all the difference overnight and can sit next to a bed as a perfect sized bedside table with a light. Granted its a little awkward to use the light effectively as it can only be turned on and off via the Switchbot app but auto will turn it off when the room is dark if left in Auto mode The added option to put this in Smart homes makes this a perfect choice and the one I have had for several months has no blinked once and remained reliable and effective.
