How much does the iron weight?

Instruction Manual spec. says 1.25kg (2.75lbs) I weighed the iron and it was 3.15lbs with both the lead & plug - and around the stated weight without.

Does this iron have to have water in it, even if using it only to dry-iron?

No it doesn't have to have water in it. There is a switch to use it as just am iron. Best iron I have ever had

All of a sudden the iron has stopped reaching temperature and just makes a clicking noise. Its only a month old. Any ideas?

It’s obviously a fault. Should be able to return and replace. I’ve had no issues with mine and use it all the time for the last 6 months
