I have bad knees and was at a point that I was considering a doctor visit. Bought this as I generally just use a Walm@%$ brand when thing start to pain. The Wal#$% brand was not doing it for me this time . After getting this and using it for 2 weeks everything was good as as new NO PAIN ! My knees hyper extend and this thing is the best . Adjusted it so that I could not straten out all the way and instantly was relieved of pain. I do not need to use this any longer but know that if the pain returns I will have it ready for use. The build quality is good and the comfort level while wearing it all day (10+ HRS) is nice , no pinching or sagging . It even fit under my loose fitting jeans but found the hinged edges to be to sharp and they did damage the jeans so I now wear it on the outside. Fitting it is simple and fast . It is somewhat easy to put on , the more you do it the easier it gets . You just need to figure out the correct steps . Overall I am very pleased with this leg brace and am happy I bought it.

The brace came very quickly. I was having surgery on a Wednesday and ordered it on Monday and it arrived on time. It doesn’t slip as much as the other braces do. It has different settings so you can adjust it to what fits best. The only con I have is the last clip is a bit hard to remove, otherwise it’s a 5/5.

Basically it's the sliding switch that locks it into place when you adjust it for your size, the switch is easily toggled into the unlocked position so I just kinda had to glue it place when I adjusted to my size, just a bad design choice. After wearing it for 10+ hours a day, several days a week at work where I do a lot of walking around, it wasn't terribly uncomfortable but it just depends on what kinda pants your wearing. After I glued it up, the support really does help my knee pain. Although it doesn't really seem like the mechanism meant to limit the angle of extension you can bend knee does anything. Just more cheap plastic switches that don't really do function or I broke without knowing, but I don't need it for that function so it doesn't effect me. Over all I think it's fairly solid brace, I'd definitely buy another of this style because it really does reduce the pressure on my knee and I sorta enjoy the compression of the straps which are accompanied by some very sturdy padding so it doesn't feel like a tourniquet. I don't really use the over the shoulder strap it came with but I can see why it came with it. Wearing it over pants can gradually cause it to slide down your leg. Driving with it isn't really an issue for me, but I wear it on my left leg. Once you figure out the strap length you like, it they velcro down and you really don't have to adjust them again because the Velcro is actually very strong quality stuff and they got a strong buckle thing going on. Although if you have a bathroom emergency, I suggest you start unbuckling yourself on the way cuz the last thing you want is to be standing in front of the toilet fighting to get if off just so you can pull your pants down lol

After an unsuccessful intent to repair my fractured kneecap, I had another Orthopedic surgeon reviewing the surgery and he recommended me this knee brace. At the hospital nobody has seen it or knew how to place it except the surgeon itself. Since the package have no instructions included or a video to direct people to see how to place it, it was not easy to understand the device. At home I noticed that it was not keeping its place and I kept tightening the straps. One morning, I woke up with the brace down to my knees. Five days later, I went to the emergency room to have surgery area check and see what was wrong with the brace. After 12 hours in the ER's Orthopedic on call determined that the brace was functional and discharged me. It was funny and frustrating to see the doctor acknowledging that it was broken and then bringing another type of brace minutes later and when he tried the brace I had and it locked, he determined that it was good. Two days later, I am back at the ER, and although doctors questioned its function ability, they decided to place me in an old fashion classic cast that covered from hip to my foot. i may recommend it for later in the recovery process when bones are secured and heal.

This brace is the only one I found that takes all my knee pain away. It’s amazing! Then it broke. I contacted Orthomen who makes it and they are sending me a free replacement! Wow that’s great customer service! Will be buying again.

Recently I had a surgical procedure where I had my ACL and meniscus repaired. I ordered this brace to have for after surgery because the brace I had was about to be completely worn out. This brace just didn't feel very durable to me. I felt like it could possibly snap at any minute. I am a bigger girl, around 230 lbs, so that may have something to do with it? I like to give honest reviews, because I hate wasting money on an item based off of people not posting true reviews. The pieces around where you adjust the reflex and extension was pulling apart by day 1 and I could just tell a huge difference in the one I had prior to this one coming in the mail. I went ahead and ordered a new brace of the brand I had before trying this one.

First of all, I pulled it out of the box and literally only had to lay the brace on my table and spread it out big enough to go around my knee. Then I put it on adjusted the clasps and I had hangover Velcro, so I very easily took the end of the Velcro strip, where they it connects, undid it, cut it to length and put it back on within 30 seconds. And put it back on my leg and it fit perfectly. I was able to get the instructions to figure out how to set the range of motion Buttons and so far they are working perfectly. It does help to use the shoulder strap if you’re wearing a compression garment or something that your leg changes shape over the day or that is silky or something. But probably if you’re wearing denim and you have the brace on the outside or some other rough material. You won’t need to readjust except for the one time when you stand up after putting the brace on because clearly your leg changes shape , so far I love this brace the ease of figuring it out I didn’t need a physical therapist to come in and adjust the straps. I could do it all on my own. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I certainly am not.

After reading alot of positive reviews I thought I'd give this Knee brace a try. And I'm so glad I did!! I haven't been able to hardly walk in the last 2 weeks after hearing a loud pop in my knee. I needed something to add stability to my knee so I can move around and not have the sensation that my knee was going to buckle underneath me. When I first put it on on my bare knee I was confused about the straps but after some practice with how to use them I don't have any Problems. The Brace is open on the back so if it bothers you against bare skin, wear it over a knee sleeve. That's what I did and it works Great!! Today I was actually able to do some housework and laundry without Pain!! And I owe it all to this Orthomen knee Brace!! Is my knee 100% now?! No. But this knee Brace is allowing me to actually walk with little to no pain. It will get me through until I see the Orthopedic Surgeon and he can figure out what's going on. If you're on the fence about ordering this... don't be. This thing has really helped me!! Thank You Orthomen!!❤

This item you can't return which I didn't know. It doesn't lock the in 40degree.. useless
