I had to buy a new bed and wanted a dark wood one with storage. Saw this one and checked all the other reviews before I purchased as, frankly, I don't want to have to buy another one for a long long time. To be honest I don't think I'll have to. The bed was delivered much quicker than I'd anticipated and I also purchased one of the underbed storage drawers to go with it which arrived at the same time. I'm not a very strong woman tbh, and there's not much to me, yet unbelievably I managed to put together the whole bed together in less than an hour and a half, even if I had to prop up the head board at one point. There is an extra leg which is in fact just an extra block of wood which attaches to the central strut and goes to the floor but it makes all the difference to both putting it together and seemingly, to the sturdiness of the bed. Having put it together and put the mattress on it I am completely unable to move it! Make sure you have the bed in the right place before you put the mattress on! My mattress is also quite deep but it still sits very snugly without any sign of slippage. Seriously, I could not be happier with this bed and can't recommend the product or company highly enough and I am pretty fussy. The fact that it's such good value for money is a bonus and that you can get matching drawers which are also easy to put together makes it even better. NB I recently moved house and had to dismantle the bed. Obviously when it came to putting it back together I had managed to lose a few of the bolts and the bed had got a few marks on it. I decided rather than try to put it back and hope for the best I would contact the seller to see if there was any chance of purchasing some spare bolts. I sent an email and they responded within 24 hours offering a full free set of screws and bolts and advice on how to clean the wood. I can't recommend the seller & manufacturer highly enough. Fantastic all round!

An excellent bed frame! Couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. I love the design and colour of the frame, it perfectly fits my aesthetic! It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. Came with all the right tools and materials. Two nights I’ve had this and I slept like a baby. Sturdy and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Good sturdy bed, easy to assemble and looks great. Arrived with some damage caused by the courier, seller couldn't have been more helpful, sent a replacement for the broken part plus extra fittings within 23 hours.

The bed frame was delivered right on time with great comunication from the company leting me know roughly when during the day it would arive. The bed arrived in packaged in 4 separate flat boxes, with the screws and fitting, with some spares, in the main box. The frame is made of solid wood, with the side pannel already attached to the ridge where the slats will be screwed on. There is a helpful video on youtube with instructions on how to assemble the frame, and it took me around 1 hour to do this, by myself. Note that you will require a hammer, and a flat head and philips screwdrivers. The resulting bed frame is sturdy, and passed my jump test easily (jumping up and down on it for a minute after placing the matress - very sophisticated). The matress fit is a bit tight (had to push it down a bit) but otherwise is great, with the 20cm floor clearence being perfect for under-bed storage drawers. All in all I would highly recommend this bed frame, as it is of much better quality than you can get anywhere else for this price, and is 100% better than a similarly priced IKEA item.

GOOD POINTS Great price, arrived quickly and was relatively easy to construct. The instructions are basic but....it's a bed people, it really isn't that complicated if you know how screws work. It does take a LONG time to screw in the slats though if you don't have an electric drill but it's perfectly possible, just takes an age as the blister on my hand will confirm. The bed looks nice, it is oak coloured pine as described. The colour is nice, doesn't look too crappy like some stained pine can do. Other people have compleined that the bed creeks. We made sure to tighten all the screws, made sure all the sections were lined up properly and it doesn't creek at all. It's a really solid bed and comfy too. Made our mattress feel like a brand new one! BAD POINTS So, I didn't relay these to the seller as I just wanted to put my bed up and not wait around for days for replies and spare/replacement parts... There was a Locking Nipple missing from the parts. Only one but they are REALLY important parts. I easily found one in the local hardware shop for a few pence but that isn't the point. The central strut which supports the slats ...the end of it had been 'fixed' in the factory. There was a split on the plank and they patched it up with a round piece of wood glued on in the exact spot where the weight is taken and support needed...so not incredibly pleased about it but it doesn't seem to be an issue yet (I have taken photos of this in case it breaks and I need to claim with the warranty so I would suggest anyone else do the same) The packaging was damaged when it arrived, not the sellers fault I'm sure and there didn't seem to be any damage to the bed but I made sure to photograph the packing before unwrapping just in case.... All-in-all though I am very pleased with it, looks fab in my bedroom :) :)

After a dose of research, I took the leap, the horrors behind star #1 were on my mind This is a great production bed, the manufacturer employs standard practice to manage pine wood machined products, (in this day and age the fix is often stronger that the wood itself.) I got clear pine and the knotting care is very smart. Put together in very short order. Plans were easy and clear, full kit supplied with a couple of spares. Care not to stress joints during assembly are a standard awareness. One can do it with ease and care, two will help to care for the frame while vulnerable during assembly Follow the instructions and as advised the slats must be secured, it's part of the structure. I was unsure of the mid beam support but it's very robust and a great feature. Amazing value for money. It's a production bed with a hand made feel.

A reluctant three - maybe a two! The construction of the bed is not good, particularly in the bits that do not show. Very poor quality timber, untreated, splintered in places and with roughly-filled knot holes. The headboard and footboard, which are pre-assembled, have not been put together very well. Also, the bed is very, very low - the base is only 8-9 inches from the ground.

Spent ages trawling different websites looking for a super king sized bed. Have to say , we found this one and we were really impressed with how sturdy and solid it is. It was easy to put together and took no time at all. (About 30 mins) the instructions were simple and easy to follow. There is absolutely no creaking or movement in the frame itself when we are sat or laid on it. Delivered on time by a third party exactly when it should have been. We have recommended to other people who have since also purchased.

Le lit est livré en kit, très simple à monter (aussi simple que ceux du celèbre fabriquant suédois pour un produit de meilleur qualité). Une fois montée le lit est robuste, il tient bien. Le bois a un belle aspect. Le lit est complet, il n'y a plus qu'à mettre le matelas de son choix.

Lit très solide et esthétique. Le matelas s'encastre parfaitement. Seul petit bémol: le nombre de pieds de soutien du cadre (sous le lit) gêne le passage de l'aspirateur ou du balai pour un ménage convenable sous le lit. En contrepartie c'est aussi ce qui fait la solidité du lit et un très bon maintien du sommier donc du matelas ... on ne peut pas tout avoir :-)

Très inquiet pour achat du lit projet one, fabriqué en Angleterre, mais dans toute la France se sont les seuls a vendre un lit en bois (pas de particule..) et avec le sommier assortie. Facile a monter,( vidéo sur you tube), le lit fait pas de bruit, la qualité, et le prix pas cher, je suis suis super content et pleinement satisfait, bravo les British
