I found no moldiness in the product whatsoever. The jar was packed to the top. The sticks were strong and firm and some even hard to break. I'm making cinnamon oil and extracts. The extract is coming along perfectly, the smell is extraordinary cinnamon...love it. This is well worth the money and won't buy from the grocery again. It's 100% natural, no additives. I will buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered this Rani Cinnamon Sticks 2.5lbs showing in the review, I purchase it to add to my homemade bake treats , drinks and skincare regiment , just open the bottle and started to blend it up tiny is when I saw particles of string of clear, looking like plastic strips appears in the blending process of blending down to power like form, I took a picture of it I can’t imagine what it could be but it’s not soft to the touch more like a firm tin plastic looking strips.With barely any cinnamon smell to it.I am afraid to use it because I do use cinnamon in my baking and drinks so consuming this not knowing what’s it there I will have to discard it.For that is why I gave it 3 stars.I feel cheated.
