Outdoor Post Lights Hard Wired, 12 x 12 Pillar Lights Outdoor

The post lamp has been working well. I would recommend buyers hire an electrician to install it. I have been using it for several weeks without any problems. It looks very stylish.

This is not going to light up a large space. It also directs the light downward, not out. Otherwise, charges well and looks good. High quality solar light.

I’m very happy with this 12” x 12” outdoor pillar/post light. It has a clean, modern design that instantly gives an outdoor space a more finished and upscale appearance. I especially like the simple square shape and black finish because it looks stylish without being overly decorative, so it can work with many different styles of homes. The size is one of the things I like most about it. At 12 x 12 inches, it has enough presence to look substantial on a larger pillar or column. It would look beautiful on driveway entrance columns, patio pillars, around a pool area, garden entrance, or at a front gate. It doesn’t have the tiny appearance that some outdoor post lights have. The light looks especially nice at night. The illuminated panels spread the light around the fixture and create a warm, welcoming glow. It provides useful outdoor lighting while also acting as a decorative feature. I love that it can make a driveway or patio feel much more inviting after dark. Another nice feature is that this is a hardwired fixture, so once it’s installed you don’t have to worry about charging batteries or making sure a solar panel receives enough sunlight. It uses an E26 bulb, which is convenient because it gives you flexibility when choosing a bulb. You can select the brightness and color temperature that works best for your particular outdoor space. Since this is intended for outdoor use, I also appreciate the waterproof design. Outdoor fixtures need to be able to handle changing weather conditions, and having a fixture specifically designed for exterior installation is important. Installation does require hardwiring, so anyone who isn’t comfortable working with electrical wiring may want to have an electrician install it. Once installed properly, though, the square design looks very clean sitting on top of a column or pillar. The modern black frame and softly illuminated panels are probably my favorite part. During the daytime, it looks sleek and understated, and after dark it becomes much more noticeable. It would look especially impressive if you installed two matching lights on pillars on each side of a driveway or entrance. Overall, this is a beautiful, substantial outdoor light fixture that combines modern style with practical lighting. I really like the size, simple design, E26 bulb compatibility, hardwired setup, and the amount of character it can add to an outdoor area. If you’re updating your driveway, patio, gate, or exterior columns and want something modern rather than a traditional lantern-style fixture, this is a great-looking option that can completely change the appearance of the space.

This is a beautiful, almost 8 in.² outdoor post light. You could put it on a post or on a concrete or brick pier; it would look even better, in my opinion. It gives good value for the money. The black square LED post light is hardwired and connected to direct household voltage. Which means you do not have to worry about storms, snow, rain, or cloudy days; you’re always gonna have a post like that that works well. You can put it on a post, or I can put it on, appear myself. I’d recommend that it generate 750 lm at 8 W. Some of you will recall that 9 W is equivalent to an old-style 100 W incandescent light bulb, so 8 W is giving me a lot of light output. Give me all four directions; the latest reset is at 3000°: give it a warm, almost incandescent look. When you open the box, you can feel the quality of this lighting fixture. It is weather-resistant, IP54-certified, and waterproof. I like Pillar posts for this type of light, though you can use a post light if you wish. I think it looks better on a gate pillar myself. Installation is not easy you would need to comply with the national electrical code and bury a electric cable at least 12 inches underground and you would need a product called a "Ditch Witch" to dig the trench and so doing you have to make sure you don’t cut any of the wires of pipe as you’re doing it and then you’ll have to run EMT up to a standard waterproof junction box and connected to that light or a concrete pillar you would have to use concrete drills to drill down to the center of the pillar and then in from the side on the back and thread the wire through that opening up to the lighting fixture and have the junction box on the backside of the pillar or the backside of the fence whichever way you prefer to install. Your electrician would probably run the cable to a separate circuit breaker in your home, run another line to your junction box near your front door, and add another switch there so you can turn the lights on and off from your front door. It does not come with a remote, a timer, or anything of that nature.

It’s amazing how much proper exterior lighting can change the look of a house, especially around an entrance or driveway. I really like the clean square design of this post light because it feels modern without being trendy or overly decorative. It gives you that simple architectural look that works beautifully with contemporary homes, gates, columns, patios, and garden walls. The fixture is designed for permanent hardwired outdoor installation and uses an E26 bulb, which I appreciate because having a more familiar replaceable bulb format gives you flexibility when the bulb eventually needs replacing. It’s also designed for outdoor exposure, which is obviously essential for something that’s going to live permanently outside. This would look especially nice installed as a matching pair on entrance columns or driveway pillars where the symmetry can really frame the space. Simple during the day, useful at night, and one of those relatively small details that can make the entire entrance feel more finished. Curb appeal sometimes really is just good lighting. 😂✨🙌

The light is great and it was fairly easy to install however the wires were not the typical white, black and copper ground. They were green, blue and red, which threw me off at first and I had to do some extra work and investigation to ensure I was wiring it properly because the directions did not specify or even mention the colors at all. Better instructions there would have saved me a ton of time because I am not an electrician but I am very comfortable wiring in standard light fixtures. This was not standard!
