Monstress Volume 3: Haven

Fascinating story, full of twists and turns, and beautifully illustrated. Very well realised cast of characters, particularly Maika Half-Wolf who is angry, flawed and nuanced. Everything is underpinned by excellent world building that creeps through into the story gradually rather than being dumped on the reader.

His series just gets better and better. Besides the fact that the artwork is beautiful, the storyline continues to surprise me - I didn’t see what happened coming at all. I can’t wait for the next instalment!!

I absolutely love these comic book, the art is fantastic, I seriously recommend everyone read them, I have the 1st and 2nd one too

I enjoyed the story in the first volume enormously, everything looked so interesting, the world so well thought. Now, on the third volume, new characters, new places are introduced and I realized this will be a long journey. The main story will not end until lots of lateral things will happen. The good thing is that the atmosphere is good and the drawings are exceptional so anything will happen I will still read it. It is a little frustrating that this will be milked to the last penny and will stop probably when it will lose momentum, maybe without being finished (I am afraid this is the Game of Thrones paranoia syndrome on my part).

Amazing artwork and gripping story! I adore it!

Amazing story with beautiful, fantastic art. This was just mind blowing. I read all three volumes in 2 days!!! The story hooked me from the get go and I had to finish it at 1am in the morning! This is what I have been looking for, a diverse comic with rich characters with compelling background stories. Maika Half-wolf’s story is a true heroine’s journey that hits all the right notes. You won’t regret getting this story!

Must like deep fantasy an say if want someone not read Graphic Literature to get something really fel like read a real fantasy Brick for this is real Class literature that so good story never can see what suprices and turns happens are very good read but are a bit heavy to read like Tolien and other books also are so are today 3 books come out prefere read this in that way Hardback 580+ pages bit bigger and art are so good and tell so much about story so are Book 1 are bit heavy in text 2 and 3 are not need have same for like all book 1vare lot of history tell and love way done it in for not get everything directly are Many not understand how Fantasy Books works are never just 1 book are More and need read First book are always a more heavy read than rest are for need to Get story and reasons history and so on together and characters are Just how it works Book 2 are so Suprice how turn story around just Growing and get lot better are not read book 3 yet look it through and same quality of art and say Not go get disappointed just need bit time had lot to read a while and just not got to this yet but soon be Book 3 been read in deep way for are how read this for must get it in Take it's time to read are no quick read are need use eyes really good for are lot of details need get in art is in those books so get Indie Asian Fantasy art if must try discibe what this Asian artist done are really telling a big part of story in art so need read and see what is in pictures for get the story are very high class fantasy and love fantasy read Fantasy all my 60 years life so read a lot of books in my life started read very early in life 👌
