I purchased the white ones. Anyone else surprised by how purple they appear?

I have purchased three packs of these lights. The first two game as a “warm” white and the new pack just came as a “daylight/ pink/purple” color. I will be returning as they don’t match the sets I purchased the beginning of 2021 or the end of 2020. They are sending me a new set. Those too will be returned if they are not a matching set.

How many lumens are these lights?

Each of these led grow light is 1000lm. However, compare with LED Shop light, we should pay attention to the PPFD and spectrum of grow light. PPFD：Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density. The effective energy acting on plants per unit area. Lumen means Human perception of visible light. Even led grow light and shop light are same PPFD, but led shop light have better lumen output for the grow light will absorb a lot of light beyond the lumen range.

Are led chips exposed to air or are they covered to protect from mist? like with plastic or poly-carbonate?

They are covered. No electrical components are exposed.

How many strips and distance for succulents and cacti?

Depends on the plant. I keep 1 strip 12inchs over a 1020 tray of euphorbia and cactus
