D40E 128GB Dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C Jump Drive, Champagne Silver

So I desperately needed a device to transfer out large files from my phone to my computer. I have an android, but all my other devices are Apple. I don't care to have a iPhone and I prefer an Android phones functionality. Anyways, this was so helpful and easy to use. It reads on my phone and apple device really well and it's easy to move files to and from. Quality feels great, sturdy and quick.

Perfect size, great quality, and easy to travel with. It’s worth every penny. I use it to store my written works and documents. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something that can access both tablets and laptops.

Have way too many devices and too many types - this little gadget has worked miracles and nothing else needed... big enough for the largest video files and well made. Reliable and have used for about six month and virtually hundreds of files... great buy, easy to use and well worth it. Not over sized and fighting to fit into slim area ports - well designed as well as well made!

I picked up this Lexar dual USB drive to simplify file transfers between my phone, tablet, and computer, and it has been an absolute game-changer for my workflow. The dual connector design with both USB-C and traditional USB-A means I can use it with virtually any device without needing adapters or dongles. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer speeds are noticeably fast - moving large photo and video files that used to take forever now happens in seconds. The 128GB capacity gives me plenty of room to keep important files, backups, and media readily accessible without worrying about running out of space. The metal housing feels premium and durable, and the swivel design protects both connectors when not in use while keeping the form factor compact enough to stay on my keychain. The champagne silver finish looks sleek and professional, and the build quality is exactly what I expect from Lexar. I've been using this drive daily for months now, swapping files between my MacBook, Android phone, and iPad, and it has performed flawlessly every time. The swivel mechanism is smooth and feels like it will last for years of regular use. Having instant access to my files across all my devices without relying on cloud storage or internet connectivity has been incredibly convenient, especially when traveling or working in areas with spotty wifi. The drive runs cool even during extended file transfers, and I've had zero compatibility issues across different operating systems. For anyone who regularly moves files between USB-C and USB-A devices, this is an essential tool that eliminates so much frustration. ---

I really like the overall quality of this flash drive. The metal housing feels heavy-duty and substantial in your hand, and 256GB is plenty of capacity for what I need. I also have to give Lexar credit for the packaging. It was surprisingly easy to open, which was refreshing considering how Fort Knox some electronics packaging can be. I specifically bought this so I could download larger files to my phone, transfer them directly to the drive using USB-C, and then remove them from my phone. It does accomplish that, but there were two frustrations. First, although the USB-C connector fits my phone, it will not connect properly with my phone case on. I have to remove the case every time I want to use it. For something that’s supposed to make transferring files between devices convenient, that’s a pretty significant annoyance and almost a deal breaker for me. Second, I could transfer photos and other files without a problem, but when I tried transferring an MP4 video, it wouldn’t work. After some Googling, I discovered the drive was formatted as FAT32. I had to remove everything I’d already transferred, reformat the drive to exFAT, and then start again. Once I did that, I was able to transfer the larger file I originally bought it for. I wish it had either come formatted appropriately for larger files or included clearer information about that limitation. Overall, I’m still giving it four stars because it ultimately solved my problem, has plenty of storage, feels very well made, and the packaging was refreshingly painless to open. But having to remove my phone case every time I use the USB-C connection keeps it from being a five-star product for me.

Just the right size to move scanned documents to my PC and the dual USB allows me to share with my Chromebook as well. The drive is well built and has a sturdy metal casing. It met all my expectations. Shipping was fast and it arrived with no damage.

Excellent USB Drive for moving pictures and files between phone and PC. HOWEVER, the drive needs to be reformatted if you plan on moving or storing files that are greater than 4GB. It comes with a FAT32 file system. Do this: Copy all the drive files and folders (preloaded) to a new folder on your PC. Reformat the drive to the Windows default "exFAT" file system then copy original files from your PC back to the drive. This will allow you to copy movie files and such that are over the 4GB file size limit of the old FAT32 file system. Enjoy!

Having both USB C and A connectors is great!! I’ve had to use both on the same iPad and it worked flawlessly. TRansfer speed is fine — I use the drive mostly to play videos on my iPad that are stored on the USB drive and I have no experienced any playback issues. HOWEVER, the drive feels cheap because the rotating mechanism is loose. Also either the USB A or the C connectors is ALWAYS exposed. It seems kind of obvious that whichever connector is exposed could be damaged easily … say if the drive is in a backpack and the backpack is dropped or heavy things in the backpack bump into the drive.

Have bought 4 of these now, all totally reliable, fast and do the job perfectly. The 128gb is a good size for the money. Like many USB stick these do not overheat no matter what you copy over to them, fill the whole stick in one go if you like and they never falter. That's why I keep buying the same one each time.
