These mats are great. They are a really good size to help to contain litter tracking. I now have 4 of these. Two are grey which I’ve had for quite a while. I’ve just gotten two more ‘tan’ ones. They are actually a salmon pink colour which was a bit disappointing but they were on Amazon Resale. I’ve had no issues with the grey ones. They’ve lasted well, help to limit tracking and are very big so protect my carpet well. They clean quite well when hung on the washing line outside for a few days. Alternatively I have put them on a quick, cool, no spin wash in the machine and had no issues with them. I had two of my own cats and two foster cats and these mats have been so useful to have under each litter tray.

This mat has been used on the floor under the cat litter tray and I'm very satisfied with it. I was surprised to see it isn't washable in a washing machine but it does it's job very well. More than anything else I think it's the material it's made of which is the big advantage. It's kind of floppy and almost rubbery to feel, but the mat edges stay to the floor, so no tripping up and it mostly catches the overspill from our cats vigorous digging. A dustpan and brush takes care of clearing up the overspill but any tiny bits of dust will readily come out if you shake and beat the mat. It's generous size was a pleasant surprise as our cat has a large litter tray. We have the mat in grey and it fades into the floor cover colouring nicely. All in all it was an excellent purchase and I'm very happy with it.

I have a Norwegian forest cat, with huge, furry paws, and he tracks litter around like you would not believe. But this catches a lot of it, and can carry quite a lot in the grooves, preventing the litter from getting further kicked around. Although it can be difficult to remove all the litter from the grooves. It is also easy to clean cat mess off of, and I have had no problem clearing cat poop in the past. It is also easily moved on hardfloor unless weighed down by the litter tray

My rescue cate loves this mat. She regularly scoots litter out of her litter box which lands of the mat outside of it, which I soon dispose of. When she doesn't want to use the litter box she will lie on the mat fast asleep, so a win win situation.

Bought this Amazon Basics cat litter mat to replace a much more expensive one that had seen better days, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well this budget option performs. Cleaning is straightforward - a quick shake outside or a vacuum does the trick for regular maintenance. While it's not machine washable, it's easy enough to wipe down when needed. For the price point, this mat punches well above its weight. It may not have all the premium features of expensive alternatives, but it serves its core purpose brilliantly. Sometimes the simple, affordable option really is the best choice - this mat proves that you don't need to spend a fortune to keep your litter area tidy. Excellent value for money and does exactly what you need it to do.

I have found this fairly helpful in restricting the slinging out of the actual litter material when my cat tries to bury everything in Australia! It would have been helpful if a slightly smaller size had been available. It restricts some of the litter that she carries on her paws onto the carpet but it is necessary to fold back a corner of the mat due to space limitation. Difficult to lift and move if required. Quality is good and I have not seen anything similar. Luckily only clean litter is kicked out and this is easily swept up.

A good size. Holds a corner litter tray well, with plenty of exit room. The surface of the mat is designed to 'grab' onto any escaping cat litter. It does this well. The cat also uses it as a scratching mat! Easy to vacuum. Has a gripping bottom surface for hard floors. Good value for money.

Quality is excellent, value for money really excellent, it’s great to use under the cat litter tray, use is excellent, ease of of use excellent and durability excellent. Arrived on time, packaged so well. Great price and followed instructions thank you.

The product quality is good like most amazonbasics products. It does help trap the litter. Being a bit of a neat freak, earlier I used to sweep up stray litter from the floor every couple hours, but now I do it once or twice a day. Yes, some litter does get stuck inside. The trick is to turn it upside down, lay it flat on the floor and tap it so that the litter beads fall off. However, if your cat gets a hang of scratching it, they will ruin it. My can did it a couple times from underneath but I discouraged that behaviour just like how I discouraged her from digging the litter too much at a young age. So she usually keeps the litter area clean. However, it it not worth the price. You can get one of those green coarse plastic mat used in cars for much cheaper and it will perform in a similar manner.

This litter mat is not tan / beige as shown on pictures, it is actually pink. Though the lines that cross the mat are tan, the main body is pink. I am not sure why the picture was adapted like that
