Can u use tap water in this one?

The manual states: "Use ordinary tap water" and "Do not use water that is processed through a home softening system".

Is this an auto shut-off?

Yes, it is. All Black & Decker irons have the auto shut-off feature, I believe.

What is the weight of this iron?

My opinion is: Lightweight? PASS. Adequate Heat? FAIL. I was never able to find exact info on weight, not even on Black & Decker's own website where I asked that question through their online chat. "Chat Gal" had no idea, didn't know how to find out & wasn't about to try. The only thing left is SHIPPING WEIGHT, shown in this ad as 3.15 lbs. One would assume that includes packaging, but maybe not. I'd say it's 3 lbs at most. It's the lightest iron I've ever owned; especially important if you do alot of ironing. HOWEVER, the amount of heat this iron provides is pretty bad. Doesn't get hot enough to do a good job on wrinkle-prone fabrics or set in wrinkles, even using the steam; BARELY "just okay" for my use and I do very little ironing. I get by but wouldn't choose it again for that reason. I am satisfied with the weight (and love its really LONG power cord).

does this have a manual on and off switch

Don't see manual----Everything Is automatic - after 15 min without use it shuts off auto--also, automatic clean -- This is the best iron ever---sharp point great for corners and just really like it--I just plug the iron in to turn on and unplug to turn off as I really like this---
