Calling all green thumbs and aspiring gardeners! If you're itching to get your hands dirty and witness the magic of sprouting life, Black Duck Brand's Assorted Vegetable & Herb Seed Packets might just be your ticket to garden paradise. I took the plunge with this massive seed collection, boasting 43 varieties and over 10,000 seeds, and here's my experience: The Good: Variety is the Spice of Life (Garden): This set is bursting with an insane selection of vegetables and herbs. From classic tomatoes and peppers to adventurous kale and dill, there's something for every taste and culinary whim. You'll have enough variety to keep your taste buds and harvest basket happy all season long. Non-GMO Goodness: Grow your own food with peace of mind. These seeds are all heirloom and 100% non-GMO, meaning you can enjoy wholesome, chemical-free produce straight from your backyard. Germination Grand Slam: The seeds boast a high germination rate within 7-14 days, ensuring you'll see those tiny green sprouts popping up sooner rather than later. Watching life unfold before your eyes is truly rewarding! Mylar Packaging: The included Freedom Farms Vegetable Set Mylar Bag is a fantastic bonus. It keeps your precious seeds safely stored away from moisture and light, ensuring their viability for years to come. The Not-So-Good: Seed Lottery: While the estimated seed count is helpful, it's not an exact science. Some packets might be a bit more generous than others, so don't be surprised if your tomato bounty varies from the numbers listed. Planning Puzzle: With such a vast selection, planning your garden layout can feel a bit overwhelming. Research planting times and spacing requirements for each variety to avoid overcrowded chaos and maximize your harvest. Mystery Seeds: The descriptions provided are basic, focusing on variety names and not much else. If you're a gardening newbie, some of the less common herbs and vegetables might leave you scratching your head, requiring additional research. Overall: Black Duck Brand's Assorted Vegetable & Herb Seed Packets are a delightful bargain for experienced and novice gardeners alike. The sheer variety, high germination rate, and non-GMO commitment make it a fantastic entry point into the world of homegrown goodness. Just be prepared for a bit of seed count guesswork and some light research for the more obscure herb offerings. Recommendation: If you're looking for an affordable and diverse seed collection to kickstart your garden, this Black Duck Brand variety pack is a fantastic choice. Just remember, a little planning and research go a long way in ensuring a bountiful harvest! Happy planting!

Planted about half of the varieties so far and had 100% success so far. Beets, melons, beans, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, herbs, spinach all sprouted!

All seeds I’ve planted from this have sprouted. I will say the cherry tomatoes refuse to grow larger than a sprout. I’ve been gardening for years and I have never seen this. But everything else is magnificent. The zucchini is the star of the show though! You cannot beat the price for all these heirloom seeds!

Most of my seed varieties that I planted have already sprouted, and the ones I am waiting on have longer germination times anyway. Overall, I am happy to add all of these traditional, open polinated varieties to my collection of seeds and am hoping to plant more varieties as I get more garden space prepared for planting. Better than some of the seeds I bought for sure, Black Duck seems to be selling fresh seed.

Amazing! Don’t listen to those other reviewers! This is what my plants look like in only three weeks and all I did was plant them and water them I had no idea what I was doing and they’re THRIVING! My peppers and tomatoes haven’t sprouted much but they’re on the way soon!

Great price for a large variety of seeds. They tell you when to plant also.

Well all the seeds did not come up The melons and zucchini are great

Quality seeds and I can see them sprouting. Spinach seeds are missing and when I informed the seller he immediately shipped and even gave extra seeds. Thanks!
