Brother CE1155 Computerized Sewing Machine, 110 Built-in Stitches, LCD Display, 7 Included Feet

I’m really pleased with this sewing machine so far. I bought this for my daughter (9) who is taking a beginner’s sewing class. This machine is so easy to set up and start using right away. I love the digital display and selection of stitches vs other machines that have the knob. I never could figure out which stitch I was on with those. The automatic needle threader is also very helpful for beginners. I have an older model Brother machine and it’s still going strong after 13 years so I have no doubt that this one will be of similar quality. While this is a little pricier than some others, you definitely get what you pay for. Spend a little extra on this one and you won’t be disappointed.

Love this machine. I have completed several projects without issues. The machine runs smoothly, it is quiet at low to medium speed and not impossibly loud at fastest speed. The pedal action allows for perfect control, better than what I had with another famous name brand prior to this one. The only negative is the tool box: it is designed in such a way that any small accessories you want to keep in there must be contained in a plastic bag or they will fall off of the machine and all over your table. Why?? It really does not make sense, very poor design of this small but important part of the machine. That's the reason for giving this machine only 4 stars instead of 5, which is what it feels like when you sew on it.

I wasn’t sure if I should get this one bc of the amount of reviews it had. For context Ive never used a sewing machine before and it was SO easy, the manual was super instructive, the quality was nice and I found it very easy to use and efficient. It is not too big which is good to store in a normal apartment. 10/10 would buy again.

Love this machine! Newest model from brother and I'm in love. Totally sturdy for all my needs yet beginner friendly. Easy to thread. Love the green color too . Simple yet functional and great price !

I have owned several Brother sewing machines and this one is not worth the price. Very poorly made. The outer case plastic was bent out of shape when I received. It seems like this has been used before. Thinking about returning it. Not happy

Good purchase except at first it did take me a while to get it. I still need to more time to get use to it ..

I was really pleased when this new sewing machine was delivered a week earlier than expected! However..... It was delivered with an American style plug. There was no adaptor, no transformer to alter the power to UK and nothing else to make a change to the power. I noticed in the product information that, if it came without the correct plug, you should contact the local Brother Rep. I called the UK Brother help desk and was told that the product I'd bought wasn't made for the European market !!! It has to be returned . Brother have opened a customer service file about this problem.
