Works perfect! A low cost high quality grinder.
I was both pleased and surprised of the quality hand burr grinder. It perfectly grinds coffee to precise and preferred levels for espresso or coarse for drip. I prefer #6 for espresso and Americano. The grind container is actually glass not plastic! Turning the grinder is easy as the handle is correctly sized. It takes a couple minutes to grind a double espresso, but well worth the effort.

Decent price
Arrived as advertised, works well, seems sturdy, easy to use and clean, and small enough to fit in a drawer or cabinet.

Nice little grinder
This coffee grinder is great for small servings. If you are making a 12 cup pot you might want a larger grinder or know you will have to fill this one a few times. I have read articles about making a great cup of coffee but while they will tell you to weigh the coffee down to the tenth of a gram and carefully measure the water down to the precise millilitre they don't tend to stress grind. Just fine medium or coarse depending on your brew method. This grinder has excellant control over how coarse a grind you will get. You can buy the same beans from your roaster and not really get the same bean. I like Ethiopian beans, but one order may have come from a different plantaion or the next may have been roasted under different weather conditions. The control over the grind lets you correct your coffee. Not smooth enough, go a little coarser. Not getting enough boldness, try finer. You will find that one roast of beans works best with a grind setting of 20, the next from the same geographic region and roaster may need a 17 setting. Not to mention a morning where you just need a something different and want to go for a large setting change. This little grinder works well for these kind of grind changes. Gives you great control over what taste you are going to end up with and seems durable after 3 monthes use. It was a purchase where I got the value I paid for.

Compact, Quiet, and Great for an Office Coffee Upgrade
I bought this to use with my AeroPress at work, and for the price, it’s been a solid addition. The ceramic conical burr delivers a noticeably better cup than the pre‑ground coffee in the breakroom, and it grinds two scoops in about 15–20 seconds. It’s quiet, compact, and easy to stash with the rest of my setup.A few things to note:• The body can be slippery, and it occasionally twists in my hand when it catches a bean. A wide rubber band around the body of the grinder fixed that issue however.• Grind consistency is decent, not perfect. After three months I’ve found my sweet spot, but it’s not as uniform as my electric burr grinder at home — which is probably an unfair comparison. Expect small adjustments when switching beans as it can affect bitterness.• I wish it could be taken apart for deeper cleaning; the included brush only reaches the underside of the burrs. Maybe that’s overkill, but I’m used to doing it with my home setup. On the upside, it feels well‑built, works reliably, and the large handle knob is great for anyone with limited grip strength.Overall: A dependable, travel‑friendly grinder that delivers good results for the price. I’m happy with it and would recommend it for office or on‑the‑go brewing.

A really good grinder.
Probably one of the better purchases I have made in quite some time. My electric one is good and takes no effort to use, but if there is a power outage you can't use it. This one is sleek and compact. You can take it with you just about anywhere. I have been using it for only a few weeks and the durability seems really good. Also, it grinds more precisely than my electric one because of the variety of settings. The handle comes off after the grind and can be a little cumbersome to store, but that's a small issue. It's little bit of work, so if you're used to convenience maybe have that in mind, but really if we can't spend a few extra minutes to grind some beans then that's just a good problem to have in life. Maybe if you have a hand or wrist injury you can stick with the electric, but the work really is minimal and it's cool little thing to add to the morning/afternoon ritual. Highly recommend.

Good for the price, but has its limits
You get what you pay for. Grind consistency is decent, but even the lowest grain setting won't get you close to a true espresso grind — it still produces a coarser result than expected. It's fine if you're using a pressurized portafilter, but not ideal for a bottomless one. Worth considering only if you don't mind spending 15 minutes a day grinding your morning coffee. After a few months, I got tired of the manual process and now just buy pre-ground espresso from a local coffee roastery

Great little grinder
This is an excellent small grinder. It conveniently accommodates the precise amount of beans recommended for a single 12oz pour-over coffee. It operates effectively and grinds with ease, and I particularly appreciate that the lower section, which collects the ground coffee, is crafted from glass.

Portability: Is it lightweight and easy to travel with
I’m really happy with this purchase! At first, I was a little skeptical because I read some reviews saying it wouldn’t grind fine enough for espresso. Thankfully, that hasn’t been my experience at all.I’m using grind setting 5, and it works perfectly with my portable espresso machine. The grind is consistent, and the coffee tastes so much fresher. Now I can enjoy freshly ground coffee wherever I go. Definitely a great purchase!

Effective and great value
Great value for money. Easy to use and clean. Has clear settings for making different coarseness, fineness of grounds. Love it! Also much lighter and smaller than others on the market. I take it with me on short trips as doesn't take up much room.

Precision at Its Finest – A Must-Have Manual Grinder for Coffee Enthusiasts
As a coffee enthusiast who enjoys the ritual of grinding beans fresh each morning, I’ve tried several manual grinders over the years — including the Prolex — but this one truly stands out. The build quality is excellent, and the precision of the grind settings is remarkable. With 40 adjustable settings, it offers an impressive level of control over grind size, whether you're brewing espresso, pour-over, or French press. What sets this grinder apart is the consistency. Unlike my previous grinder, which relied on adjusting the burr screw and often resulted in uneven grinds, this model delivers a uniform grind every time. The adjustment mechanism is intuitive and allows for fine-tuning with ease, making it ideal for those who like to experiment with different brewing methods. The grinder is compact and portable, perfect for travel or small kitchens. The hand crank operates smoothly, and the ceramic burrs do a great job preserving the flavor of the beans. It’s surprisingly efficient — grinding a dose for espresso or a full cup takes minimal effort. If you’re serious about your coffee and want a reliable, high-precision manual grinder, this is an excellent choice. It exceeded my expectations and has quickly become an essential part of my morning routine.
