Compatible with 2005 Jetta?

If it's a MK4 it should work fine. Mines a 2003 and it was a perfect fit.

I have a Jetta 2002. It looks like the black does not come with the trim piece - will my existing trim piece fit this item?

Will this parts fit a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta

I'm not directly familiar with the MkV Jetta, but this item is for a MkIV which ended production in 2006. It's possible they used the same door panel design for two generations, but it seems unlikely. Still, if it works on a Passat, it's possible. Amazon's pretty good about telling you what parts fit what car. Tell the site what you have and it will probably warn you if the part won't fit. My guess is it won't, but they should have an equivalent product that does. I would recommend going with this manufacturer, though. After six months installed and with lots of use, the bezel still looks great and shows no sign of wear or other problems.
