So far this works, but there are no cooling fans for the electronics. It skips on videos here and there. Video quality is ok, but sound is very quite compared to stock stereo and other replacement stereo's that are similar. It also had a small amount of smell, like electrical getting hot. I will run it for a while and see how it does. Installation was simple and it looks decent. Everything is 100% plug and play, so good on them for that.

This was so easy to install! It even came with the panel removal tools. Sound quality is good and everything works as expected. Very happy with this purchase.

This headunit is pretty cool it’s got all the features, CarPlay, Play Store, retained car functions, butttt, one thing is, sound quality. I’ve played with the “DSP” in the radio, and I will say it’s not the best, the function itself is okay but as soon as u turn Subwoofer “Low, Medium, Loud” it comes through the door speakers itself there is no true subwoofer output which is upsetting. Had to purchase a Sony micro-amplifier to get good sound quality and then again, the sound it’s transmitting is not that great. I’ve used RCAs, my LC7i, direct high level input into the amp and out, nothing seems to get that good sub quality you see with any radio. Crossover settings would have been nice too. Easy to install, cheap, comes down to two things. A. Easy install, cheap, no dash kit, good functionality, not great sound quality, or B. Get a boss headunit that does give way better quality, also cheap, but needs a dash kit and further modification to enable retained factory functions. So if you’re a person with a MK5, i’d recommend the Boss since it doesn’t have swc anyways for the Jettas and Rabbits. And if your a person trying to maintain your good quality sound with a dsp, loc/line driver, sub amplifier, 4 channel amplifier, might not be the best pick for cheap headunits. CarPlay works good little bit of lag (better than a lot of automakers tbh) wireless isn’t very good cuts music out very often and for some reason made the unit shut off at a higher volume when I'm not utilizing the radio fully and noticed 4 pin usb is required to enable wired CarPlay / Android Auto. Also had to cut the front face plate because it didn’t sit right it was too big around the corners making it not a flush fit but after I did that it worked good.
