Pretty disappointed in these overall. I was expecting dried basil leaves to use for some recipes and even for some of my flavored waters. However, these are dried stems; there is very little leaf pieces and those are mostly ground to powder. The flavor/scent is not strong at all being mostly hard thick stems. I cannot use in many of my recipes because of the sticks. So the large bag I received, I’m only able to use a smidgen of what’s in it. Pretty disappointed overall.

You hear "dried basil' and you think of leaves and seasoning. Not dry stems and twigs that smell like nothing. Utter failure.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and fragrant this dried basil is. The leaves have a strong, natural aroma that you can smell as soon as you open the bag, and the flavor really enhances my recipes. I’ve used it for soups, sauces, and even herbal tea, and it works wonderfully in all of them. The bag comes with a generous amount, and the texture of the leaves is much better than many other dried herbs I’ve tried—they’re not overly crushed or powdery. I also appreciate that it’s 100% natural and clearly well-packaged. Overall, this is a great value for the quality and quantity you get. I would definitely buy it again.
