When I first purchased this I was a little concerned as it is half the width of most clippers however I quickly learned that it packs a punch.This is excellent value for money. My girlfriend is a Hairdresser. I asked her to use this and she was able to do my hair in a few minutes. Its smaller design means it is much lighter which makes it more ergonomic and was able to get deeper into my hair. There are many numerous guide attachments with different numbers. I also use this for shaving, simply remove the plastic guides and this will give you a seamless full face shave in seconds, To switch between the clipper and nasal trimmer takes seconds. The nasal trimmer is excellent and the first I have ever used, I was expecting watering eyes and pinching feelings however there was no pain or any pinching feelings. The battery life is fantastic and the fact that this is cordless makes it much easier to use. I highly recommend this.

I really like this razor. Its light and works like a treat. I use it to shave mt head down to stubble and trim my beard and it comes with all the attachments i need. I've been using for about 6 months now and no sigh of the blades blunting at all. Holds a really good charge but does take a good few hour to fully charge. Soem others have commented on the on/off switch being a little stiff and i have also found this to be the case. Its not a mojor issue though and i'd recommend to all.

I bought this shaver for my dad at Christmas after searching through many different brands. I wasn't sure if this would be the best but it was a great price and a good brand, so I went for it. Some of the reviews were negative so I was nervous about how good it was going to be, however, in my opinion it is fantastic. The button to turn it on and off is a little stiff as some have mentioned, but that by no means warrants a one star review. The power of the razor is brilliant, and it whizzes stubble off in no time. I gave it a try myself, but wanting to keep my stubble it wasn't very good for me. Even with the highest trim level, it speeds through stubble leaving nothing behind, so if you don't want a clean shave every time, this may not be the best for you. If you want to trim your hedge as well as your face, then this is the razor you need. Jokes aside, the razor is powerful, and great for those who want a clean shave without a wet razor. My dad loves it. highly recommended. 5*

This is a great all in one hair trimmer for the price. However, it's best suited to tidy up an already cut hairstyle as shaving your head with long hair may take up a bit of time as the trimmer is quite slim compared to dedicated head shaving blades.The battery life is great so far, but I haven't really put it to the test as I have only used it at home.But if your after something that is easy to use, store and keep you looking pretty without the need of other shavers, as well as save you a few quid in the long run from less frequent trips to the barber.Does not come with common sense tho, so make sure you or whoever is using it are aware mistakes cannot be undone and refunds don't get given from bad haircuts lmao.

I'll post a usage message in a week's time. In the meantime I ordered this one day and received it the following. Amazing. I've unpacked it and washed my hands thoroughly. It'll be the next warm weekend when we try it out and hopefully by then the device will have had time to be virus free (if that makes sense).I've had a try and it works without needing charging first time. It's a tad noisy and the clippers will separate from the main body if you pull too hard to remove the clipper guard but it fits back together. There is a good choice of hair lengths and believe me at £10 a hair cut if this does three then I've made my money back. My partner said it's easy to hold although the instruction leaflet is useless. Overall good.

It was time to replace my existing Philips trimmer that had given up the ghost after around 6 years of use.. so as a huge believer (and user) of Philips products over many years (that’s the best part of 40 years to be exact) there was only one choice for me.. but a straight replacement was never going to be possible given the progression of the Philips range of course.. but having found and compared the 2-3 units that most closely matched my current trimmer i plumped for this one.. which appeared to provide the functions i needed at a reasonable price and most closely mirrored my existing trimmer.. however there are several noticeable differences which were immediately evident upon opening the box.. firstly, it’s much smaller than my old unit.. it’s thinner form (meaning the barrel) makes it harder to use because you have to grip it tighter in your palm.. which makes it less manageable during operation.. secondly, the casing is made of cheaper looking plastics which suggest it wouldn’t withstand a minor accident.. unlike the old unit which looks much more robust and perhaps better made altogether.. disappointing for me because the ‘made in chyna look’ is not something I’ve ever associated with a Philips product.. and secondly.. the new unit has a much smaller (meaning narrower) cutting blade than I had expected.. so it takes longer to shave / trim any given area.. by comparison.. the overlapping of your hand motion has to be much more calculated to avoid missing some hair.. which results in the need to repeatedly trim some (harder to see) areas to be sure you have achieved a uniform look.. it’s too early to comment on battery performance of course.. but I’m already somewhat sceptical about that given the propensity for manufacturers to use cheaper batteries whenever they can get away with it.. let’s hope I’m pleasantly surprised there.. but when i weight it all up.. I’ll have to live with the cheaper materials.. but the form factor of the blade is fundamental to results and impacts on ease of use which i may not be able to hack.. no doubt these changes all result from the bean counters desire to squeeze every last drop of profit out of its products.. whilst hoping you simply won’t notice any such shortcomings.. but for long term users like myself the deficiencies stand out like a sore thumb.. I’ll persevere with it for a while longer yet.. but I’m already thinking about gifting this unit away and looking at some other manufacturers offerings instead.. i don’t think that driving their die-hard fans to competitors was remotely considered in the process.. i regret buying this unit and wish I’d gone into a store and seen it in the flesh before making my decision.. will be sure to do that next time!

After having used a Philips OneBlade for a long time, I wasn't expecting too much out of this trimmer. This was an emergency purchase but it did IMPRESS!It comes with a very good set of varied attachments which give a very good UNIFORM finish to my short beard. This is not a replacement for the one blade...but using both this and a bladed razor, I got a much more satisfying shave than I have done before.After reading reviews, I was slightly hesitant... Yes, the button is stiff; but No, that is not a reason not to buy!The charger it comes with is MAINS, not a shaver adapter...which is brilliant for me as I do not have a shaver adapter.Overall... very satisfied with my purchase (£15 paid) and I think it's a great little trimmer that does a very neat job.
