It is an excellent product. However, it only comes with 10 lancets, and you have to order the lancet device and additional lancets separately. You also have to order alcohol swabs to sterilize the area beforehand, and a sharps container to dispose of the used lancets and test strips afterwards. Price wise, it was the best deal of all the other glucose monitors that I noted.

It works well, reasonably priced and test strips are less expensive than a lot of others.

This product is inaccurate. Very disappointing. There was a question of if I had gestational diabetes but I couldn’t get in to be retested at the lab for a week. I purchased this glucometer to monitor my sugar 4x per day until I could get to the lab for a 3 hour glucose challenge. In the meantime, my insurance also provided an Accu-check Brand machine so I had two glucometers. When checked at the same time each day, my readings were elevated by up to 30 points higher on the reli-on machine. This occurred on 50% of the checks with reli-on! Ultimately I went in for my 3 hour glucose challenge at the lab and the levels were all normal - matching the Accucheck brand results (significantly lower than the Relion brand). I did request the Control solution from Relion. It’s been 3 weeks and I still have not received it. Very disappointing!
