This fly trap is AMAZING!!!! It works so well!!! It is extremely easy to use. Almost zero noise at all. The sticky traps inside are so simple to change out. It even looks good on my counter! There is no smell to it. It's got a timer on it. I always have it on. I recommend buying refills for it immediately. You'll definitely go through them. I have a fur baby so my screen door is opened and closed a lot throughout the day and night so of course we get flying insects in the house. So when it's bedtime I know this trap is going to get them before I get out of bed in the morning!! The lights on it attract them and the fan sucks them down onto the sticky trap! **BUYER BEWARE — Difficult Return Experience with Spray and Pray LLC** I am sharing my experience so other customers can be cautious when purchasing from this seller. I received the product last week and tested it the same day. The power button did not respond properly, and several of the other functions also seemed unreliable. Because the device appeared defective, I requested a replacement through Amazon. The replacement was initially approved, and I received instructions to return the original item. I carefully repackaged the device, obtained the return QR code, and dropped it off at UPS within a few hours. Fortunately, I kept the UPS receipt and tracking confirmation. About an hour later, Spray and Pray LLC canceled the replacement request. Instead, I received a lengthy message explaining possible restocking fees and stating that I might receive only 50% of the purchase price. When I contacted the seller, they asked for the tracking number. After I provided it, they asked me to explain again why I returned the device and which return reason I selected through Amazon so they could “determine” the status of my replacement. I sent them a detailed explanation the following morning. Approximately one minute later, I received this message: “Your customer service inquiry with Spray and Pray LLC has been closed.” The conversation was then closed without an explanation or resolution. At this time, I have not received a replacement or a refund. I will continue contacting Amazon and the seller because I believe I should receive either a fully functioning replacement or a full refund for a product that was defective upon arrival. Please keep your UPS receipt, tracking number, photographs, and copies of all messages when dealing with a return from this seller. My concern is not only the cost of the product—it is the way the return and customer-service process was handled.

I bought a set of 2 of these to catch flies in my distillery. I used it once with the included glue traps and oh my gosh, it was so upsetting! The first 48 hours only one trap caught one bug- a sort of wasp like insect - but it must not have been dead because 2 days later it was gone! Over the coming days, it trapped ZERO flies, but several other insects. The trap wasn’t sticky enough to hold them all and for them to die quickly - it was so upsetting seeing these mangled but still living bugs all in there and with some others that were crawling on the sides they flew out when I opened it. I felt terrible- I basically don’t feel I have any more right to life than any other creature, but for my business I really need there to not be flies. Then I got an idea… because the light attracts the bugs, and internal cone shape and the fan keeps them inside, I decided to try using the devices without the glue traps to see if it trapped and held but didn’t kill any bugs. VOILA! It does! I leave it on overnight in the dark, so the bugs are drawn to the light and then each morning I turn it off and unplug it and quickly take it outside to release any bugs and it is catching a variety of insects and small moths! I open it and shake it out and they fly off! So far it has only caught one fly… which flew off with the rest. So except for the first round of tortured bugs (which I ended up squashing to put out of their misery which I did NOT enjoy) it is ultimately a WIN as a humane trap and release bug trap!!! And turns out the flies keep drowning in a bucket of water I am leading in the floor, so that is working out for me but not for the flies.

Summer time and an open house has led to pesky mosquitos coming inside the house and this was a game changer. I was unsure if it would be worth the money given some of the other reviews, but I’m glad I took the gamble. It’s quiet even on the higher setting and the light is bright, but placed discretely it wasn’t an issue. It has caught quite a few mosquitoes and kept them from pestering us inside.

It does catch some small flying insects, but the results were slower than I expected. It works best when placed in a dark area overnight, but don’t expect it to solve a bug problem quickly. It’s quiet and easy to set up, but I think the replacement cartridges make it a bit expensive to maintain.

This has been a bad year for gnats and drain flies. It happens every spring and is usually manageable. This year has been awful. I was so frustrated. I looked for a highly rated, reasonably priced solution and THIS IS IT! I am stunned by the difference this little machine has made from the start. In almost a week, I have not seen more than maybe a half dozen of those little pests. I’m so impressed. It exceeded all expectations in a quiet, clean manner. One of the best home purchases I’ve made in years.

Works very well, have been catching a lot of fruit flies. It’s very easy to use and quiet. I plug it in and leave it on, sometimes I use the timer, the fan has 2 settings, and it comes with 5 sticky cards to catch the flies. Very happy with it so far. It seems like its made well. You can put it anywhere, it looks like a speaker, and has a long cord.
