PrintMaster v8 Platinum

I have been using some form of PrintMaster for mmmm like 20 years I would guess. I just got a Win10 computer and my other software didn't work anymore. So glad to have found this version. It works well. I find it very user friendly. I also use other publishing programs, but this one is SO easy to use and quick to get things done! -Cindy

This program is better than the last one which would not reinstall on my new hard drive and was not user friendly. However this one is not as good as my original version. There are no where near the graphics, you can only open one project at a time and not able to copy from one to the other as I could with to older version. Half of the things you could original do are not there for example printing a page of what happened the day you were born. There are about 1/4 the sentiments. However, I have not found a program that I like 100% so I settle for what I can do with Printmaster. Sure wish they would republish the original version even though it had about 6 discs it had a lot

I have used Printmaster for as long as I can remember. Latest Windows update made my old version obsolete. Looked online and I saw 5 places say that this version would open old versions files - well it doesn't. I now have to recreate a ton of stuff and I am finding it difficult to do in this new version.It will only recognize some of my fonts - not all of them. If you resize a text box on one side you cannot use the side resize button on the other side - you must click off of it and then back on to do this. You can only have one project open at a time - old one you could have multiple things going at once. Tried to do a shipping label - it is not offered as a standard - I had to put in measurements of label and figure out gap size to put it in (they only offer about 5 label sizes all the rest are custom) - I finally gave up and used Microsoft Publisher. You also cannot copy from one project to another - I wanted to copy the information from my business card onto a label and could not do it - again went to Publisher and I could copy and paste in there. It won't stay in the folder I am in.I could go on but I am tired of typing. I am so utterly disappointed in a program I have admired for years,

not what it claims to be. i used to use print master for my pc. it had hundreds of clip art to choose from. i have a mac now and ordered this. there is nothing to choose from. tried to find a few flowers or wreaths for a wedding invite i was designing. there was nothing! i find this product to be completely useless! what happened to all the clipart, cute cartoons, expressions, etc. not worth the price.

I only purchased this updated version of printmaster because the older version stopped working on windows 10. It is a disappointment, as it is set up completely different from previous versions of Printmaster. That means there’s a substantial learning curve, plus an incompatibility with projects created in older software versions.

Once you figure it out its a great program.

I have had PrintMaster for years with a couple of upgrades, but since I upgraded to Windows 10 had to get updated version. Well it is a huge learning curve absolutely nothing like the old one. I loved the old one so much better. In this one there is not as much clip art not less you want to purchase. It is not user friendly. There is no manual except online which is not really convenient when trying to figure out issue and have to toggle back and forth. Layout is completely different and if you are a novice with computer this will be a challenge

I don't like this product hard to figure out how to use. I should have stuck with Hallmark card program.
