Amazing pump! I can't say enough good things about the Frida Manual Breast Pump. It's incredibly comfortable, efficient, and thoughtfully designed - you can tell it was made by moms who get it. The suction is strong but gentle, and the ergonomic handle makes pumping feel easy and natural, even one-handed. It's also super portable and perfect for on-the-go use or quick relief when you don't want to set up an electric pump. Cleaning is a breeze - only a few parts and they all come apart easily. I love that it comes with a storage lid too, so I can pump straight into the bottle and pop it in the fridge. Compared to other manual pumps I've tried, this one is by far the most comfortable and effective. It's quiet, compact, and gives me just as much output as my electric pump for short sessions.

I’ve been using the Mandela manual breast pump and overall, it’s been a really convenient and reliable option—especially for quick, on-the-go pumping. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble, and doesn’t require batteries, which makes it perfect for travel or keeping in a diaper bag. The suction is surprisingly effective once you get the hang of it, and I like that you can control the speed and pressure yourself. It’s also fairly comfortable with the soft flange, and I’ve been able to get a decent amount of milk in a short amount of time. One of the biggest pros is how quiet it is—you can use it anywhere without drawing attention. Cleaning is simple too since there aren’t a ton of parts. The only downside is that your hand can get tired during longer sessions, so it’s better for occasional use rather than exclusive pumping. Manual pumping does take more effort compared to an electric pump, but it’s a great backup or supplement. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for moms who want something affordable, portable, and easy to use.

Bought this because I love the Frida Mom products and loved the idea that I didn’t have to buy two separate products (haaka and a manual pump). After following instructions and getting set up, I went to use it and the suction on the hand pump was broken. I followed all of the fixes to make sure the pump was set up right and it still did not work. Had the pump worked, I’d say this was great quality in terms of the materials used and I’d say it’s easy to use. However, I did end up buying two separate products as that’s what has worked best for me with my first pregnancy.

Giving this a four star only because the cups are screwed on but they are so loose that they can easily be unscrewed if you accidentally swipe something next to it. Given its silicone it’ll stick too. I’ve had plenty of times where I pump on my bed and it made traction with my blanket and almost fell out. Other than that, it’s a great pump! It does get squeaky after pumping for a while but it is manual. It’s comfortable with all the silicone but that can also be a drawback because cleaning it, you gotta wait longer for it to dry. It also has a million pieces so cleaning can be a pain. Overall I do like it. I tried the medela pump and I definitely prefer this one! I ended up buying 2 so I can pump on both sides as I am an exclusive pumper!

I’m an oversupplier, I pump about 28-30 oz extra a day and the Mandela hand pump has been my go to because it empties me out very well and very quick. There are some things I didn’t like about it so I figured it’ll try another hand pump since they are affordable and between the Mandela, lansinoh and Frida mom, Frida mom takes the cake. Bonus points: it has most of the same size parts to my zomee pump so I was able to use those bottles and valves! Doesn’t hurt and empties out my breast really well. I love it! Anddddd the suction attachment doesn’t hurt at all unlike the haaka

If you have a strong let down the suction pump from this can help you collect it. I get about 2-3oz each time. I also love that it’s a manual pump as well! Works great, you just might need to get flange inserts!
