This stuff seems to make the deer a lot more curious than other scents I've tried... I'm frugal, but this is the only scent I've tried that consistently gets a response from the wildlife... if there are deer cruising the area they tend to be actively curious and come looking when they get a wiff of this.

This is the best cover scent. I have been using it for about 8 seasons now. I was getting winded at my blind from time to time, nothing worse than a deer snorting at you for 15 min and warning all the other deer. With Deer Dander that changed, I just spray it on the blind and trees around my blind. It is just awesome. I have actually had deer come right up to the blind and sniff it, what a rush! I used to put it on my clothes when I was still hunting but the odor lingers quite a long time. Also, logic kicked in and I decided its not a good idea to smell like a deer with the population of coyotes and wolves in the U.P. of Michigan, perhaps even a Bigfoot (But that's another story and it does involve Deer Dander) Just spray it on the trees and bushes around your all set for anything coming from down wind. I swear by this product, and I talk it up to every hunter I meet, even before I started purchasing it from Amazon. I actually had to start buying this from Amazon because it would sell out at all the Outdoor Stores in short order. The only negative and it is a minor one is that a submissive doe will freak out a little and skirt the area. I feel this is the only thing I need to use!

When I first bought this for early season, the item worked well. The spray cap that came with the bottle fits perfectly. However, when I ordered the second time, the spray cap that came with it did not fit the bottle so I was not able to use it so I requested for a replacement. When I received the replacement, the spray cap that came with the bottle did not fit again so I had to request for a refund. I wished I saved the first bottle so at least I could use the spray cap. On a side note, the scent worked well and I was able to harvest a few deer early season. I used the scent on my boots, hunting gear, and the areas I hunt. I would definitely buy this again next season. Hopefully, they read my review so they can get it fixed. This item is meant to be sprayed on and not being poured on.

This is the original deer calming have used since the 90's. Watched Dan and guy when I first started bow hunting. Great product for cover and curiosity.

I had read a lot of great things about this product. Can't find it around here. Bought it off Amazon and headed for the woods. To smell it, I don't think "deer". It smells......odd to me. Almost like something you'd clean your kitchen with. It's weird....to me. I have used this while sitting in a ground blind and had deer walk right up and are totally relaxed. Didn't see the arrow I slung until it had passed through. What really hooked me on it was last weekend. I was up in a climber and saw a few deer ghost through. I grunted and called one back. Sizing it up, I decided to let it go. But the deer was pretty intent on meeting a new friend. It was literally 10 yards from me for over half an hour. It sniffed the air and looked high and low. The spray bottle actually leaks a bit. Even I was smelling it. The air seemed to reek of this stuff. I sprayed the trail I came in on and he was standing on it. I watched him sniff my trail . Once he seemed like he was about to spook but he never did. He stayed calm and hung out a while before finally leaving........then he came back. Still sniffing, still looking. It was almost annoying. He's lucky I didn't change my mind.
