Disappointing Vacuuming Quality
The device maps well. It is not possible to shut off the email subscribe prompt in the app. It is not possible to remove the LIDAR discovered locations outside of windows or sliders. Cleaning? It is terrible at picking up crumbs. The little spinner pushes items into corners and will leave them there forever unless you clean up. I just ran a kitchen only sequence, with the deeper focus mode and the highest suction. Still crumbs and cruft. I'm not saying it's not worth any value. It has some great app features. But wow, the core function of the device - vacuuming - leaves a lot to be desired compared to my previous device by iRobot that died. Suffice it to say I will not be buying another Dreame, despite its benefits and positives. I would recommend you invest your money in a different brand of product. I really hoped for a lot more from this device. Its first mapping run had me so excited that it was going to be amazing.
