Classified Series #161, Snake Eyes & Polar Bear, 6-Inch Scale Action Figure and Bear with 15 Accessories Including M.A.S.S. Device Catalytic Element

This set uses the Retro card back Snake Eyes mold done in the colors of the 5 part mini series that started it all in 1983, The M.A.S.S. Device. The polar bear in this set takes things to a whole new level with it's size and detail. The polar bear comes with different shoulder parts that include one with tranquilizer darts and one without. For those that may not be aware the shoulder with the tranquilizer darts is directly from another episode of the G.I. Joe series from Sunbow named Haul Down the Heavens. The bear trap it'self was never uses on the bear but instead was shown having caught a wolf that Snake Eyes would rescue. That wolf became his friend and was named Timber by the blind man that rescued Snake Eyes. The only flaws that I have found with this set is that it uses the card back Snake Eyes gun holster that has a slot for a suppressor that is not included making him appear to be missing an accessory. Secondly the knife given to this figure is a little too short and they should have given him the same knife as the card back version. Otherwise this set is near flawless. In my opinion this is the best Snake Eyes mold and the best version of it is the card back version however he is just as cool in these animation colors. The M.A.S.S. device ingredients are pretty cool in my opinion and although they are not needed to make this set great, they are a nice addition and when everything is displayed (along with the other M.A.S.S. Device figures and accessories) it all just pops and any fan will instantly recognize and enjoy. All of that being said I will add another opinion about the cost. These price hikes are getting ridicules and are hurting this hobby at it's core.

I was very stoked to grab them for a great deal last month! Saved myself lots of money as the regular retail price is pretty expensive especially on Pulse for $74.99. It does come with a lot of stuff packed inside including the Polar Bear which has amazing sculpt details and the red M.A.S.S. device element to complete the entire set with the other two M.A.S.S. sub-line figures. I also really enjoy the sunbow inspired Snake Eyes more than I thought, not a big fan of the exposed hands but he comes with plentiful extra hands that glow in the dark based on the red element he's carrying. Good articulation and sweet looking weapons. The package of this set is one of my favorites from the Classified series.

Great set for a classic take on Snake Eyes. The Polar Bear is very detailed! No complaints.

The Polar Bear is the highlight of this set. With two head sculpts and plenty of articulation & several accessories this bear was quite impressive. The size is the largest animal in the Classified series. The Snake Eyes version is true to the famous episode. And has several hand gestures to choose from. With Amazons price history tool I was able to find it for a good value for my money. And will be a nice addition to the collection.

Classic figure … super playable !!! Love this combo !! & the polar bear can be used for some Christmas fusion !!

I really like this M.A.S.S. Device Snake Eyes with Polar, brings me back to when I watched the cartoon when I was a kid. It was shipped in a really durable box, and arrived on time in mint condition. A must by for JOE fans.
