My wife loves writing notes and has been trying to figure out how to get them onto the computer. This is such a good method it automatically transfers to digital. I works well and makes writing notes a breeze.

PROS * Pen is good to write with. Not too thick like some Smartpens are. * Software syncs quickly as you write and offline mode transfers the accurately, although if you wait to long to open the app and sync then some of the text does not come over. However, it is much better than another brand I tried beginning with O. * Software looks modern and has features such as creating your own folders and sync to Google Drive. CONS * Notebook paper is grey and the pen ink is not that dark black so I find the contrast with writing is not that great. Also I just don't like the gray paper. *Instead of having the pen color symbols on the bottom of each page like most competitors do there is one bookmark that has to be pulled out for that. It makes the process more steps. * Notebook quality is cheap within a couple of days the pen loop came off and I had to staple it back. Refill notebooks are $19 which is not great value especially for low quality. * I wish the Google Sync was automatic. You have to manually sync each time. Overall this is a good system. I gave 3 stars for low quality notebook and not value for money in that I will have to pay $19 each time I need a new notebook and they are not that thick. I think more notebooks should be included in the package to make it more value for money. The competition provides 5 thicker notebooks + pen for $80 but their software doesn't sync well and that really matters to me.

This thing is awesome. Even if you don't write on the paper with the pen itself. You can use it to draw on the app. You can change colors on the own by touching a picture of it on the paper. Never had anything like this. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

My fault I have been so spoiled by my old echo scrib with its one problem the failing little function window interface. This item has no record of audio function. I feel silly I was rushing reading multiple product descriptions and this was a new release so I bit. My intro the echo was in a manufacturer technical class. All I could do was keep up with the outline of our manuals review for a couple or few weeks. Each paragraph was numbered so I noted titles, headings and paragraph numbers. Each entry I left ample space to file in the lectures words. At home I diligently did my homework! I connected to my computer and watched my notes sync. Up in analog sort of a way as I saw my handwriting fill in. I took out my note books and tapped the last finished point to continue on. Now as I stopped and paused continously I filled in at my pase the accompanied lectures voice. Nothing gets missed this way and I had done my best homework/note taking ever. Just wish I had this in college. So any way this will be returned I need the whole deal. It worked very well in what it did do. Best, Tom Flaherty

Der Smart Pen ist für mich eine richtig gute Verbindung aus analogem Schreiben und digitaler Technik. Gerade für Menschen, die viel mit der Hand notieren oder skizzieren, bietet er eine praktische Möglichkeit, das handgeschriebene direkt digital zu sichern – ohne auf das klassische Schreibgefühl verzichten zu müssen. Die App ist schnell eingerichtet, die Synchronisation klappt zuverlässig, und die Möglichkeit, Zeichnungen als Video darzustellen, finde ich besonders interessant, z. B. für Präsentationen oder Social Media. Lieferung & Verpackung Beim Auspacken macht das Set einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Der stabile schwarze Karton wirkt edel und gut verarbeitet. Im Inneren sind alle Bestandteile übersichtlich und sicher. Besonders positiv: Neben dem großen Notizbuch liegt auch ein kleineres bei, das problemlos in die Hosentasche passt – ideal für unterwegs. Zusätzlich gibt es Test-Zettel, mit denen man den Stift erst einmal testen kann, ohne direkt das Notizbuch zu beschreiben. Eine leicht verständliche Anleitung ist ebenfalls mit drin. Verarbeitung Der Stift liegt angenehm in der Hand – das Schreibgefühl erinnert an einen klassischen Inliner. Die Tinte fließt nach dem ersten Ein-Schreiben gleichmäßig und angenehm über das Papier. Ein Hinweis: Auf der Mine befindet sich eine kleine rote Abdeckkappe, die man vor dem ersten Gebrauch abziehen muss. Ich hatte sie anfangs übersehen. Einrichtung & Anwendung Ich habe den Stift bisher mit einem Android-Smartphone getestet. Die zugehörige App ließ sich problemlos installieren und sehr schnell einrichten. Die Synchronisation der Notizen erfolgt nahezu verzögerungsfrei und zuverlässig. In meinem Test wurde alles exakt erfasst, ohne Lücken oder Aussetzer. Die gewählten Farben und Linienbreiten bilden sich digital wie vorausgewählt ab. Handschriftliche Notizen erscheinen im Notizbuch dabei immer in Schwarz und einer festen Strichstärke. In der digitalisierten Version sieht man dann jedoch auch die verschiedenen Farben und Strichstärken, die man analog ausgewählt hatte. Das ist für mich völlig in Ordnung, aber man sollte es wissen. Akkulaufzeit & Aufladen Ich hab den Stift bisher nur einmal aufgeladen – direkt nach dem Auspacken. Seitdem nutze ich ihn seit einigen Tagen, und der Akku hält immer noch. Wie lange genau, kann ich noch nicht sagen. Aufgeladen wird er unkompliziert per USB direkt am Stift. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis Für das, was der Stift bietet, finde ich den Preis absolut angemessen. Ich arbeite viel mit handschriftlichen Notizen und Skizzen, oft auf losen Zetteln – da hilft mir dieser Stift enorm. Alles, was ich auf dem Papier festhalte, habe ich sofort auch digital. Für meine Arbeitsweise ist das eine echte Erleichterung. Ich habe früher schon ein iPad mit Apple Pencil genutzt, aber das war mir vor allem unterwegs oft zu umständlich – immerhin musste man das ganze Gerät mit sich herumtragen. Wenn man bedenkt, was der Apple Pencil allein kostet, bietet dieses Set mit Stift, Notizbuch und App in meinen Augen ein gutes Gesamtpaket zu einem fairen Preis. Fazit Der Smart Pen ist für mich eine echte Hilfe im Alltag. Er verbindet das gute alte Schreiben auf Papier mit den Vorteilen der digitalen Welt – ohne große Umgewöhnung. Die Synchronisation klappt zuverlässig, die App ist schnell eingerichtet, und die Möglichkeit, den Zeichenprozess als Video zu speichern, ist ein schönes Extra. Wer gerne analog schreibt, aber digital weiterarbeiten möchte – egal ob Notizen, Skizzen oder schnelle Ideen – für den ist das Set auf jeden Fall eine Überlegung wert. Gerade für unterwegs macht es das Arbeiten deutlich einfacher. Ich würde den Stift auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Llevo probándolo desde que me llegó, y me gusta su escritura suave y su comodidad. La app funciona a la primera y puedes escribir en colores en la app. Se actualiza rápido y solo. El cuaderno es pequeño y elegante, se puede llevar en el bolso. Lo recomiendo si quieres tomar notas, apuntes... Viene con recambios de tinta.
